Everything I Left Unsaid by M. O'Keefe

Fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas, K. Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde will be unable to resist this sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free.

I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me.

And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time.

His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both.

This book was so much better than I was expecting!
Annie is on the run – escaping an abusive relationship and figuring out who she really is. What she really wants from life...
Settling herself in, a mysterious phone rings and her world flips upside down.

Dylan, oh Dylan, is a scarred, mysterious, yet kind and compassionate man. Not one to let anyone get close, he finds himself enthralled with a certain innocent woman.

This story was exciting, it was thrilling, and it was sweet. The progression of their relationship was realistic and fun. The characters came through as genuine. I have so many questions, some links were formed, but I really need to read the second book in this series.

...that was an unexpectedly fabulous read! The blurb enticed me, but the book was so, so much more! I have to read book two very soon, as I am in limboland!

This is ... it is a novel ... in the literal sense of the word, meaning ‘new.’ It is refreshingly different, and so, so good. It is intriguing, suspenseful, sexy, unputdownable. The attention to detail is fantastic, but not a word is unnecessary. The writing is tight, intense and alluring. Ms. O'Keefe you have excelled yourself.

I highly recommend that you read this book – but make sure you have no impending obligations, including sleep, because you will either ignore them, or be utterly distracted by your thoughts on this story. I am actually thinking about torturing myself by making myself wait to read the next book, as the suspense is somehow delicious. I have no doubt at all that I will be reading them both again, and again. – Yep, that good!

Fantastic first book! I thoroughly enjoyed the suspenseful thrill ride of Everything I Left Unsaid.

Annie, fleeing in the night from an abusive husband, lands herself in a small rural trailer park. She has a small bag & three grand to try to start a new life while hiding from her abusive ex. Finding a ringing phone in her new trailer home, Annie answers. She's forever changed by the sexy voice and dark chuckle of the man on the other end of the line. Dylan is mysterious, he's sexy, remote and withdrawn, but so intriguing Annie is drawn like a moth to a flame. Chemistry melts the pages as Annie bends to Dylan's demands and erotic requests.

I found O'Keefe's writing in regards to portraying a domestically abused woman so spot on I had to question if she'd been there herself. I was riveted to Annie's quest to become free, to be unafraid to live, and finding an independence she didn't know she could have. Dylan draws her out of her closed down & shut in persona and ignites the flame that drives Annie to find the strength to acquire real happiness. Absolutely wonderful plot, drawn out just enough to keep you guessing but not so much to annoy. I found myself unable to put this book down. Warning –  watch out for that cliff at the end. GROAN!!! But so, so good! Need book two ASAP! I think O'Keefe may be an author to put on my “watch for new releases” list!
