This was a sweet story between Hart and Oak. I loved the chemistry and even with the odds against them they both fought for what they wanted. Gotta love grandma who was part of the cheering squad. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

This is my first read from this author and I went in with no expectations. The blurb sold the book for me. I mean come a gay friendly Ranch, sexy cowboys? How could that not be good?

I was instantly drawn into the characters. The attraction between Oak and Hart happened when they first caught sight of each other. The chemistry is building and explosive. Hart was warned against a relationship with Oak or Kristen by their dad, Bay, the owner of Red Fox Ranch. As much as Oak tries to get Hart's attention, Hart tries to not act on that attraction between them.

It's sweet and sexy, there is the added suspense. Overall a very good read. I loved Bay's grandma, she wasn't afraid to speak her mind and call anyone out on their crap. Will definitely be looking for more from this author.

This is a book which combines a number of usual plot lines to come up with a few interesting twists. Once I had started it, I couldn't stop as I wanted to know how the issues would be resolved. I found the restraint and the mixed messages both frustrating, but also believable. Did it end rather quickly, and tidily – possibly – but hopefully there is more to come and things will even out over the next adventure.

I enjoy writing both academic and fiction material. My research interests include focus on people who experience marginalization, both in historical societies and modern. Themes include disability, neurosis, homosexuality, addiction, mental illness, slavery and prostitution. The most important part of my work is creating multi-dimensional, believable characters that are able to build lasting romantic relationships against the odds. I want all my readers to laugh, cry and enjoy the erotic journey towards a happy ending. – Loose Id bio
