I very much enjoyed installment #3 in the Bite Nights series! Ronin is the vampire ancient and overlord of London. He's bored and in a rut. Running the vampire club and going through women like water no longer holds any interest. Only Cat holds his interest. After their one night together he can’t forget her, but she hates him.

I was excited to read Ronin and Cat's story because they've been awesomely attracted to each other and loathsome of each other through two other books. Their love-hate banter had me wanting the two to let sparks fly! Which I think they really do in this story. The two heat up the pages with not only super sexy scenes, but also quite heartfelt emotions and revelations. Both hating their pasts and their status quo, they need each other to feel "alive" again.

The ending was very sweet and a nice happily ever after! In the middle we have a kidnapping, a few vampire murders, and a nosy old neighbor giving comic relief. A perfect blend of sexy and suspense!
