But what starts out as a way to get through the wedding because of the ex-boyfriend's mother, turns out to be so much more.

Skye doesn't want to go to the wedding on her own because Finn's mother thinks that they belong together. What his mother doesn't realize, is that they were only friends and can never be anything more. So why not take Stephen up on his offer for him to be her fake fiancé.

Stephen Lund came to Hawaii to figure out his life and a few other things. But when he sees Skye, he wants to help her out. He is attracted to her from the start. And as they get to know each other better, he begins to want more, so much more. So being her fake fiancé isn't going to be a hardship for him.

Can they convince those at the wedding that their relationship is real? What happens when Skye finds out one of the reasons Stephen came to Hawaii? Will they have a chance at a real relationship?

I love Skye and Stephen; they might be my favorite couple in this series so far. If you haven't read this series yet, you need to because it is worth it. Shayla Black has a way of drawing you into a story and making you feel like you are part of it until the very end. So sit back and enjoy it.

This is a super-hot novella which fits perfectly in the 1001 Dark Nights collection and also in the More Than Words series. It fits in just before book five, but it won't matter whether you have read book five yet or not. I definitely think that you can read this as a standalone, but really you will want to go back to the beginning and enjoy them all if you have the time!

Stephen Lund is all about business, and even his time on Maui is supposedly to try and purchase the property he is staying in for a client. When he meets his housekeeper, Skye, he finds himself suggesting that he be her fake fiancé to help her out at a wedding. Truly, Finn's mother is the worst nightmare one could ever imagine – and really should be taken to task for her terrible attitude... but I digress!

Obviously, the chemistry between the two of them causes them to throw caution to the wind, and give into the feelings and the lust that they need to explore. Somehow though, Stephen needs to be honest about why he is there, as well as work out how on earth his work life and his love life could ever balance. Thankfully when it all gets rather messy, the Reeds and their other halves are there to help get them the happily ever after they want and deserve.

Super sexy, lots of fun, and the sunshine of Maui warms the pages along with the passion!

Stephen is on his first semi-vacation in a while. He's always been busy preparing to take over his dad's firm. But while on vacation in Hawaii, he overhears the caretaker's problems and can't help but want to do something to help.

Skye is looking for a date to her ex-boyfriend's wedding. And while she loves her ex-boyfriend, Finn, as a friend, she knows that without a date, his mother will never give up hope that these two will wind up together. Skye loves who Finn is marrying and just wants to let them be happy. So, when presented with the issue and a solution, she allows Stephen to step in.

With a few days to get their story straight, can Stephen and Skye really make everyone believe that they are in love? Can they convince themselves that there really are no feelings involved? And when the true reason that Stephen is in Hawaii comes out, can either of them really continue with the charade?

This couple is engaging, funny, loving, and full of chemistry. They banter with the best and I really enjoyed watching them figure out what was important to them in life.
