Her suspicions are aroused and soon she’s investigating… and uncovering things people would rather stayed buried.

Blake is used to people doing what he wants, when he wants it. While he is not new to money, he is new to the hotel business and what goes in to running and building a successful one.
Tegan is a woman in a man's world. She knows it, but despite that, she made a death bed promise to her dad and she's hoping not to fail. Her crew are with her, but she also knows that it will be difficult to keep her business afloat without something more than her store and the few jobs she's had.
When Tegan meets Blake, they don't hit it off right away. But Blake sees something in her and in order to get her to work on his new business, he knows she can't know the truth. Tegan does her best to keep her word and despite the obstacles that block her path, in the end, she and Blake will have to decide if their paths will converge or diverge.
This story was a sweet Cinderella type story. There was your typical angst and the couple has a few obstacles to overcome. And while I did enjoy the main characters, the story was predictable. However, it was a cute take on a childhood story.
