This is the third book in this series, however, I have not read any of the previous books. I never felt that I was missing any of the dynamic between the family members.

Charlotte loves her life. But with a car that isn't cooperating and a couple of drunks, it is a recipe for disaster. Charlotte finds herself being rescued by a very handsome man, Mitch. She is instantly attracted to him and not the least bit wary. Charlotte has been raised by a wonderful family, despite not being blood related. She loves them with everything she has, but sometimes having older brothers can be a pain.

Mitch had a terrible childhood. With a drug addicted mom and an abusive male role model, Mitch got the short end of the stick. When Mitch made the decision to try and help his mom, he paid a steep price. With that behind him, he finds the town that his half-brothers live in. Mitch wants to try and establish some kind of connection, but he's not sure what he wants for sure.

With Charlotte in trouble, Mitch doesn't hesitate. But once her family comes to her rescue too, he's second guessing helping a perfect stranger.

Foster creates characters that you can really relate to. Mitch and Charlotte have great chemistry and I really loved how Mitch's family embraced him so readily. When his past comes back, Mitch will have to contend with something he's never had before... a family. This was a fantastic story about acceptance, love, and what's truly important.
