Trapped in the Valley of the Kings by Blue Jones – Warmest Wishes

Rival archaeologists Will and Jude slept together a year ago, on the night of the Summer Solstice at a dig in Stonehenge. But they were both wearing masks, so Jude has no idea it was Will he slept with, and Will’s been harboring a powerful, one-sided crush ever since.

Now they’re in Egypt, competing to find the lost tomb of Queen Nefertiti. Jude falls through a crack in the cave floor, and when Will reluctantly climbs down to help him, they find themselves in Nefertiti’s tomb, surrounded by archaeological treasures—where they must spend Christmas stranded by a sandstorm.

Will a few sultry hours stripped almost bare from the heat and sharing a bottle of whiskey sort out who should get credit for the discovery—and the real reason for the tension between them?

M/M hookup

Will and Jude have been in love with each other since a masked ball where they hooked up. Neither believes that the other knows it was them, but they both do.

This is a short story about a hookup on a dig and a start to a relationship that should have started a long time ago. It is more of a friends-to-lovers story where the friends are kind of hardheaded, but the lovers part is a time bomb waiting to happen.

Blue Jones is a British author who writes sweet and sexy contemporary romance, full of offbeat characters, romantic angst, and happy endings. She is mostly English, partly Welsh, and a little bit Argentinian, and is descended from a long line of South American cowboys. She paints, draws, and has an MA in Creative Writing. Which means come the zombie apocalypse, she’ll have very few worthwhile skills.

Blue is the author of romantic suspense novel Northwest of Normal (out in 2019) and her fiction has been published in the UK, US, and Canada by Dreamspinner Press, NineStar Press, Loose Id, and Goldfish Journal.

When she’s not writing or painting, she loves YA fiction, Twin Peaks, Daniel Clowes comics, and watching Call Me by Your Name on repeat.
