The Princess, The Prick & The Priest by Ella Frank Blog Tour

Everyone said our love wouldn’t work.
That it was too hard, too complicated, too messy.
Oh how I enjoy proving everyone wrong.

My men are smart, sexy, sophisticated—and most of all, crazy about me.
The only problem is trying to explain that to my big, opinionated Italian family.

But after all we’ve been through, we deserve a happily ever after. And if there’s one thing I know about my guys, they always manage to have a few surprises up their sleeves.

This is the perfect happily ever after for my favourite threesome. After the angst and conflict in the last two books, this story is a complete sugar rush. Where there was once melodramatic tension between these three, this last book only provides melodramatic proclamations of love and promises of forever. Without any conflict, there isn’t any real plot but all the loose ends from this series are tied up in a very beautiful bow.

I devoured this story so I’m definitely not complaining – but at times this story feels like a teenage girl’s fantasy happily ever after. Priest loses his edge. Julien stops sulking. And Robbie is a bloody ray of sparkly sequined sunshine. All three are impossibly beautiful, wonderfully tender, and hopelessly romantic. After all of the grit and anguish in the first three books, my only complaint is that this one is just a little bit too perfect.

Like the first three books, much of this story takes place in the bedroom and there are some crazy sexy scenes this time around. At times this pushes into erotica territory, but the whole thing is just too romantic to be pure erotica.

I’ve loved this series from the start and these three have definitely earned their perfect happily ever after.

A gazillion stars for this wonderful series!!

If you are reading this review before having read any of the other books in the series, then stop! I can assure you that it is amazing, but now go back and start at the beginning... which in my opinion is Try... yes, I really mean that – you have just struck GOLD, ten books which together will change your reading life for the better. From now on, I am assuming you are up to date.

We have had each member of the trio's individual story, and their growth as the relationship between the three men develop. But what has been missing is Robbie revealing his new status to his family. His previous history has worried his large, loving family, and he can't bear to think that the men who mean everything to him will not be accepted. Watching the story play out is beautiful. It is so wonderful to see them realise how much they have changed since Robbie joined them – so important in making him feel like an essential part of the trio, as he is new to the relationship.

In addition to the lovely relationship affirmations, there are, as always, the most incredibly intense and superbly passionate intimate moments. Make sure that the room temperature is set low, have an iced drink to hand, and ideally, avoid reading in a public place... this is classic Ella Frank passion, emotion, and sensuality. Hot, hot, hot...

A beautiful, beautiful ending to a wonderful collection of stories about a group of fabulous men, all different, all passionate, and all with an amazing capacity to love. The whole series is on my "Absolutely Must reread" list, thank you, Ella Frank, thank you.

The Princess, the Prick & the Priest is the fourth installment in the Confessions series and is most definitely not a standalone read. In all honesty, you probably should read The Temptation series first to gain a full understanding and plot set-up.

Robbie, Julien, and Priest are finally in a happy place. They've moved in together, are committed to each other, but there are still a few things missing from their relationship. Robbie has yet to bring his men home to meet his family. Not that he's ashamed of Priest or Julien, it's his family he's worried about. Will they be accepting of their relationship? Can he move on if they aren't?

I absolutely loved how Robbie, Julien, and Priest's story has ended. I'm sad to see these characters go but I adored reading their stories, especially the little glimpse of Tate and Logan, which always is a delight. Ella Frank outdid herself with this one!!

I'm sad we didn't get to see more with Penny and Jack. I really wanted to see what happened there!!

I can't even put into words how wonderful this book was. I refuse to give anything away because you must experience this for yourself. The abundance of love in this book is just outstanding. When you think you couldn't love these three any more, you find yourself falling even harder for them. This series was amazing, and I am so sad to see it end. However, it will be on my reread list when I need a pick me up. Be forewarned, the epilogue is amazing!!!
