I really liked the back story that came with this story. Two of the men knew the woman and the third man was new. While I found the story to be well written and easy to read, I felt like we were missing so much. We knew very little about Phil except that his family was homophobes. And Sean was also mostly a mystery except that his family had a ménage as well.

I felt like we didn't get to see much downtime with the set of them outside of the bedroom except in little moments here and there, but nothing that really made me see them bonding but more of working out what was and wasn't okay in the bedroom.

I liked the plot and the writing style, but sadly I felt like the sex scenes were only thrown in because some might find them interesting. Half the time they were rushed and I had no idea what was really going on where since there were so many people involved. I suppose I'd have liked to see Tiff form a strong relationship with each of them men separately instead of always having to be together and make one relationship with all of them when each man would need something different from her as the only woman in their ménage.

I wanted to like this book more than I did. The premise was solid and the backstory between Sean, Mick and Tiffany was solid. Adding Phil to the mix was just the right sort of chemistry to make extra spicy.

What worked/what didn't: What worked for me was the genuine sense of hurt and betrayal that Tiffany had when she was younger. She didn't understand how the chemistry she felt between her and the guys seemed to be totally one-sided.

What didn't work for me was the fact that Tiffany seemingly had no clue that Mick's home life was bad. If this is a small town, she would have heard rumors, if not facts, about what kind of people his parents were. Also, some of the book seemed rushed and disjointed.

This is the third in a series, and so the themes and some of the characters are well known to us. That makes the journey a slightly different one, and it works well.

Although there is some long held resentment between Mick, Sean and Tiffany, who grew up together, the men, along with their third Phil, propose a quad to her. This seemed to me to be done in a very matter of fact, nonromantic way, but as things heat up, it is clear that they had always wanted this, and so it seems a little less calculated. The whole story heats up nicely, and it has to be said that being a woman in that town has some definitely advantages!
