This is Me, Baby by K. Webster Blog Tour

The game was over and they stole the victory away from ME.
Cheating. Lies. Corruption. Death.
This pawn never stood a chance.
But then he came for ME.
He plucked ME from my nightmare and kept me safe.

My heart was in tatters and my soul was lost.
Until the beast in ME woke up.
She was hungry and furious and didn’t play by the rules of their game.
We were a vicious team. And we changed the game altogether. I took what was theirs because they took what was mine.
ME against them.

That is… until I had someone else with ME.
Someone who vowed to fight alongside ME until the very end.
I don’t want the love he has for ME.
But the beast in ME still craves to take everything she deserves.
He should run far away from ME.
Instead, he runs straight for ME.

This is ME, baby and I am going to ruin them all.

WARNING: This Is Me, Baby is a dark romance. Strong sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you.

At the end of the last book, This Isn't You, Baby, Brie witnessed the murder of her husband. And the murder of the man that killed her husband. Now she is with her Daddy and she feels like her whole being is going to explode. Being left alone and pregnant, now she has to figure out what to do with her and her baby's lives.

Ren wants to protect Brie as he always has since he first saw her, and now he can. And he can bring her back to the States. He will give her time and maybe she can love him again. Ren can even accept the baby as his own.

Can Ren protect her from the drug cartel once they learn what she has done? Will she ever be able to love Ren as he loves her? Can they make a life together if they survive?

This series will pull you in and have you guessing what will happen next, but you will not guess right. Brie seemed scattered-brained at times, but with what she went through and her only being 18, who wouldn't have totally lost it.

I love everything about this series, it keeps getting better and better and I can't wait for the next book. If you haven't read anything by K. Webster yet, then start with this series and yes, you have to start from the beginning or you will be totally lost, but it is worth it.

This Is Me, Baby is the fifth installment in this series. This series must be read from the beginning, as the author wrote it. You would be hella confused to start anywhere but book one!

This Isn't You, Baby (book 4) ended with Brie watching her husband, Duvan, getting his throat slashed. This is Me, Baby picks up while Brie is trying to put the pieces of her now broken life back together, with Gabe swooping in to protect her. Getting her home and away from the cartel is first on his list. Ren showing up when she needed him the most isn't what Brie expected, but exactly what she needs.

Ren thinks he's found his happy ending but happy endings aren't always what they seem. Darkness always hides in the corners in a K. Webster novel.

There is so much to this story, but reviewing about any of it would be spoiling it and I won't do that. You need to experience the ride. Crazy sexy Gabe, Daddy Diego, hot steamy sex, protective Ren, crazy Hannah, and a cucumber joke thrown in for good measure.

I can't wait to see where Ms. Webster takes me next.

This series NEEDS to be read in order, or else you will be completely lost!

Book five is the continuation of Brie's story. In the last installment, Brie had found the love of her life. She is also dealt the most devastating blows – drug addiction, assault, murder. Book five picks up where the huge cliffhanger left us.

Gabe and Brie are finally reunited, which is bittersweet, as she has conflicting emotions about him and her situation. Trying to regroup and find herself when her entire life has shattered, she relies on a little help from her friends and family. Ren provides the caring and compassion she so desperately needs, even if she won't admit it to herself. He is the dutiful Protector, ready to chase away her demons, and there are plenty.

This is an emotional journey of healing, acceptance, and ultimately love. If anyone deserves a happy ending it's Brie! Of course, The War & Peace series is anything but sappy. Action and adventure share the pages, with appearances from the characters you love to hate. I found myself wondering who the real villains are, or can the "bad" guys actually be good? This was an exciting, emotional story. I may not have agreed with all of Brie's choices, but I enjoyed how everything occurred.

Waiting for the next book is going to be so difficult!
