This Isn't Over, Baby by K. Webster Blog Tour

They’d won the battle and I held up the white flag of defeat…
But the war wasn’t OVER.

I suffered the aching loss of what they had stolen from me.
OVER and OVER again, my heart broke.
The white Queen and the black King had taken OVER the game
and ruled for what seemed like eternity.

Until one day, eternity was finally OVER.

I was the dark knight who would rise again and conquer.
I was the man who would win OVER the most important piece on the board.

A slayer. A protector. A father.
A new king with the blackest of hearts.

And head OVER heels in love with…
The little princess who owned my twisted soul.

Sometimes the villains don’t just want their happy ending…
They demand it.

This isn’t OVER, baby.
This will never be OVER.

WARNING: This Isn’t Over, Baby is a dark romance. Strong sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress are found in this story. This story is NOT for everyone.

This IS a love story.
This IS a dark story.
This IS a story about the villain.

Villains need love too…

Gabe is the kind of villain you love to hate. His childhood is explained in this book and it will help you understand why he is the way he is. It really is not an excuse for what he does, it IS how his mind and soul works.

After Baylee stabbed him in the chest, he survived and now lives a few houses down from her and War. Gabe is getting restless just watching his daughter grow. He wants to be a part of her life. Will he demand to see her or will he grab her and run? We all know Baylee will never let him near Hannah even if he is her father.

Hannah is the oldest child of Baylee and War, but she is a very disturbed person. She is very jealous, an attention whore, fights her mother every chance she gets, and thinks she has her dad fooled. As long as she takes her medications, she seems to function somewhat normal. But off her meds, she could kill without any reservations about doing so.

Can Hannah find comfort and control with Gabe? Or will Baylee have her committed again? I loved this story and this series, but I can't wait for Brie's story, Gabe's daughter. There is a little of it at the end of this book and I want more NOW.

I'm going to be honest with you, this is my fourth attempt at writing this review.
For once in my life, I'm at a loss for words. The words I want to use just aren't doing the job and I can't/won't give anything away.
This book totally blew me away. It takes "dark" to a new level – and that is saying a lot with this series! This was sick and twisted and intense. I couldn't pull myself away, and ended up reading it until 4am.

Gabe is the villain you love to hate, but for some reason I can't truly hate him.
I've disliked him and he is disturbing, for sure, but he also has something about him that I really love. We know he's disturbed and devious (and delicious), but what if he isn't the REAL bad guy? Scary thought, right?! We get to see glimpses of his past and learn everything we've wanted to know since book one. Learning his motivations seemed to make him more human to me, and although I hate to admit it, I almost respect him (crazy, I know).

Somehow, the perfect villain meets with his perfect counterpoint to create a story like no other I've ever read. It's crazy and intense, insane and sick, but also sad and, at times, HOT.
I'm almost afraid to see what comes next, but cannot wait to read it!

"This isn't over, baby," He assured me. "It's only just begun."

"You're kind of hot for villains." "Villains need love too," she retorts. That they do. And in our story, we're both the motherfucking villains. – I absolutely love this line. It encompasses everything this book is.

I have always been rooting for Gabe; okay, yes, I was a fan of War's, but I knew there was so much more to Gabe that I couldn't wait to see what secrets he held. Gabe is controlling, sexy, and oddly sweet at times. He knows what Hannah needs to hear to calm her, enrage her, or make her ignite. Two parts of a whole. Two people that, if they were with anyone else, would be a disaster. I couldn't get enough of this story. I adored it and in the most messed up way found it completely sexy. I love where Ms. Webster has taken this group of characters and I can't wait to see where else she goes with Brie and Ren. I'll be sitting here waiting as patiently as possible for more Gabe.

I'll follow you anywhere. Even into the darkness. Especially, into the darkness.
