This just might be my shortest review to date because I do not want to spoil this book for anyone waiting to read it.
I felt this book gave us a look into more of Elder and why he is the way he is. And the internal fighting Pimlico went through deciding if Elder was out to beat her or sell her.
The pain both Pim and Elder go through almost jumps off the pages and will make you feel all of it, but you can't stop reading. Because you will have to know what happens next. Can these two help each other to survive and make a future together? I hope so, but even if they go their separate ways, then they will help the other move on to live a better life without the other. I know that the story of Elder and Pim isn't over by a long shot, so I will wait impatiently to see what happens in Hundreds, book three.
Pepper Winters has done it again and the next book can't get here soon enough for me.

Wow… this is going to be another amazing series. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I love Elder and I need more of him. The chemistry between him and Pim is smoldering. This book was another bumpy ride, but in a good way. I hate that we have to wait for the next installment, but I know it will be worth the wait.

I have to say this is fast becoming my favorite dark series. There is just something about the way that Pepper Winters writes... this story... I have no words. Okay, maybe a few.
These two characters are just... addicting. I love them both for their own reasons. Pim has been through so much and I just want her to get what she needs to be healthy and whole again inside and out. Elder has his own demons to face and deal with. Oh, the demons in this story. I have to say that these two characters really show their complexity and the internal battles they are each going through in such a way that no words are needed, yet so much is said between them.
The way Ms. Winters strings you along, but not making you feel like the story is going nowhere. Character development is happening all the time and the story is slowly unfolding, while inside I'm screaming for it to go faster because I know the end of the book is coming too fast for me to get all the answers I want... sigh. I will be waiting here, on the edge of my seat, until I can get my greedy hands on the next installment because once again, I'm left dying for more from this pair and where they are going from here.
