This is the second part of the story – do make sure you read part one first. This is part of a longstanding series, so there are many side characters from previous books – it is, however, possible to enjoy Only Pleasure on its own.

Now that Chase has indulged in Kia, he is realising that he has somehow got her under his skin – this amuses his friends to no end, but certainly doesn't make him happy. After a difficult youth, he is sworn off relationships – just for pleasure is his motto – and Kia is causing him to re-evaluate his rules. At the same time, she is coming out of her shell and working hard to get her life back. However, there is someone out there who does not want her to live again, and her safety is definitely in question. All these things in one installment leave a lot of questions to be answered in the finale – and I am looking forward to finding how they are all resolved.


Rachael – ☆☆☆☆
This installment of this series was a good second part. We got to watch as Kia and Chase became a couple instead of a threesome, and it was sweet. I really liked watching the relationship start to really bloom between them. However, I still didn't like that we were just supposed to roll with the fact that both characters had these long-standing emotions.

The threat that there is still something bad lingering around Kia and Chase is there and I can't wait to get a resolution for it. And I can't wait until they both get over their fears and finally confess to their feelings.

I will say that while I think the bedroom scenes are hot, I do feel like they are quite heavy throughout the book and I find myself wanting more casual interaction between the two of them to show that they can get along and have a normal relationship when they aren't doing naughty things. I also wouldn't mind seeing more of Khalid since he brought a little something special to them even though he was the third.
