This is the fifth book in the series, and I highly recommend that you read them all in order – both because there are continuing threads throughout the stories, but also because they are brilliant! I am assuming that you have read them in my review.

Luke has been featured as an interested party in a couple of books, so we know that he is ready to find the love of his life – but the twist in this tale, that she is his childhood friend who comes for his help, works brilliantly. All the guys are delicious, but since he nearly died in book one, Luke has surely found a place in the heart of every reader. I love how his strength and personality are the perfect foil for Ava and her insecurities. The underlying plot is fast paced, funny, and in places dramatic, but as always, Ms. Ashley couples high degrees of excitement with the everyday in a fabulously entertaining way. Sleep, food, and company are totally unnecessary when the important thing is turning another page and finding out just how Luke will persuade Ava that he is right! The whole gang get to star alongside the leads as they sort out what is important, and there may even be some rather unexpected reunions.

Rock Chick Revenge is the fifth book in the series and we know what to expect now. When a Rock Chick finds her man things are fun, sexy, rocky, and dangerous. I love that the pattern is acknowledged by the characters. Shirleen has a pool going on how long before they do the deed and there is repeated discussion about who the next Rock Chick or Hot Guy will be to fall in love and live through chaos.

Ava met Luke when she was 8 years old and he moved into the house across the road. She has been crushing on him ever since. A lot of years have passed. Ava isn't the same girl she once was. Gone is the excess weight and glasses, leaving Ava looking fabulous. But some of her shine is gone thanks to a string of dud boyfriends.

Our couple have a tumultuous relationship and it is a great ride. Along with Ava and her drama come new characters, most notably Ren Zano who we will learn much more about in a future story. There is plenty going on this in story and Luke is not the only guy vying for Ava's attention.

Rock Chick Revenge is another great addition to the series and I loved every fun filled crazy minute.

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA and nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn't taken her first breath!). Her mother said they took Kristen away, put her Mom back in her room, her mother looked out the window, and Gary was on fire (Dr. King had been assassinated four days before). Kristen's Mom remembered thinking it was the end of the world. Quite the dramatic beginning.

Nothing's changed.

Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana and has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus, she's blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her family was (is) loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. They all lived together on a very small farm in a small farm town in the heartland. She grew up with Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.

And as she keeps growing, it keeps getting better.
