This is the first book in the series that I have read and I really liked it. Steve is a hostage negotiator; Allistair is a rich casino owner. These two have great chemistry and share a kink, which I didn’t really think was that big of a kink but what do I know? I liked how Allistair really tries to take his walls down so he can try and have a real relationship with Steve. Steve wanted the same thing so he was trying too. You could just tell these two wanted to be together and were willing to do anything to make it happen. There was some angst and drama but it wasn’t overwhelming and it fit the storyline. I may just have to go back and start this series from the beginning.

This is a very hot and sexy read. It is short, sharp and satisfying. I really liked the characters, the way they behaved with each other and their kinks were very erotic. I shall definitely be reading this again, as it pushes all the right buttons with regards to mix of plot and story too.
