I feel like this book was written with me in mind. I loved so much about it. Loved reading about a couple in their 30s/40s. Loved the action, romance and the super hot scenes (but not too many). Loved our quirky, fun heroine Mackenzie. Loved our hot alpha (but not over the top) Texas Ranger, Dax. Loved the mystery and the chase for the serial killer which had me on the edge of my seat. Loved this book so much I've already pre-ordered book 2, Justice for Mickie, which comes out next week. Love, love, love!
