As a brigadier general, Josh isn't at home as much as he'd like, and living in an unusual relationship makes his baby girl ripe for bullying. Coming face to face with prejudice is nothing new, but having to deal with his sins being visited upon his daughter is another thing entirely.

Hiding the fact she's a bestselling gay romance author from her lovers makes life a little unusual for Gia, but she's living a dream--she's the stuffing in a bisexual relationship between two of the strongest men she's ever known.

When news of Luke's deployment breaks, when the aftermath of her daughter's bullying hits home, all Gia can do is regroup and protect the unorthodox family she's helped to create. In this case, a glass slipper won't work any magic, but a gold ring holds promises Luke desperately needs. Will a wedding save their small unit or will it be the tipping point?

I really, really enjoyed this ... and then it was over. It is so evocative of this lovely, unique family and their trials and tribulations, that when I got to the end, my mind really wanted the next chapter and the next. I have so many questions! It is definitely a worthwhile read, but I do hope that Ms. Akeroyd is considering giving us another installment, so we can see what happens next.

While this was a cute little story, I found that once it was over, I felt like it was incomplete. There were so many things that seemed to feel left unanswered or open. I suppose if I knew there was a second book coming that I'd feel like it wasn't so bad, but since it seems this isn't part of a series, I feel let down.

There were certainly some sexy scenes in the books, however, I'd have liked to see how the trio worked together more instead of it being mostly scenes of two.

There was some drama revolving around the two men being in the Army and the b.s. going on with the little girl’s school, I felt like the romance/relationship was put mostly in the background for a majority of the book.

Serena Akeroyd is a romanceaholic. She won’t touch a book unless she knows there’s a happy ever after at the end of it. Pathetic as it may be, because of this addiction, Serena decided to craft her own tales, stories that suit her voracious need for sexy romance. After all, a love story ain’t a lurve story without a bit of naughty!

A citizen of the world, Serena is a nomad at heart, and her novels enable her to travel the globe and all behind her computer desk. Naturally, she’d prefer the option of a private jet, but still, if wishes were horses, eh?

Always feel free to connect with Serena, she’d love to chat with her readers, as well as fellow romance addicts!
