Both Sides Now by Megan Slayer

Can the geeky teacher moonlighting as a rock and roll metal god find the one man to see both sides and want it all with him?

Ever since Michael Jepsen walked into Cedarwood Elementary and spotted Niall Grayson, he’s been hooked. He wants to explore every inch of the sexy third grade teacher in all sorts of hot ways. But Michael has a secret--during the summer months, he morphs into his alter ego, Bandit, and rocks stages all across the country. Can he keep his job at the school, while living the rock and roll lifestyle and snag the man of his dreams?

Niall Grayson never thought he’d catch Michael’s eye. Becoming more than good friends never crossed his mind. He’s not good at letting people into his private life and he prefers to keep his heart guarded, but something about Michael makes him want to open up. Will he be able to accept the different facets of Michael or will the relationship fail before it gets started?

Angie☆☆☆
Short and semi-sweet. The blurb says it all in a nutshell, there wasn’t a lot of real angst or drama, most of it was just Michael being afraid for not being liked for him instead of his alter ego. I loved Niall and thought he was too sweet. For a short read it wasn’t too bad, if the book was longer and went into things more I think it would have had great potential to be really good.

Characters: Well written and easy to relate to
Sex: Yes
Religious: No
Would I recommend to others: Yes
More than one book in the series: No
Genre: M/M Romance
Would I read more by this author: Yes

Two slightly nerdy teachers living seemingly normal lives come together for a sweet romance. Michael's summer job as a successful metal star was a nice twist and added drama to counter the sweetness and romance. This is a lovely, predictable m/m story which I really enjoyed.

This story ties in with the Single Father Society books by Ms. Slayer – and I was pleased to see the guys with no children also get their chance. It had been hinted at before, and I enjoyed watching their story unfold.

Although Niall came over as the sweet innocent one, it was Michael who had all the growing up to do ... and thankfully once he recognises what is important in life, he does just that. The relationship may start out uneven, but through some developments in their private lives and public ones, they are ready to move forward.

Short, sweet and sexy – this is a good evening's read.

When she's not writing the stories in her head, bestselling author, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.

When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school. She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best. The cabana boys are willing to serve, unless she needs them. She always need them.

So be nice to Javier or he will bite on command.

She also masquerades under the name Wendi Zwaduk.
