This is the first book I have read about a dominatrix that I really enjoyed. I actually liked Katya’s character and felt an instant connection with her and her feelings. Laredo and Katya have instant chemistry and it is lust at first sight. Laredo is one hot MMA fighter who wants to submit and has never been able to, he has tried several times and it never worked until Katya. Even though Katya doesn’t want to have Laredo as her submissive he convinces her and boy it was a good. Laredo had one rule and when Katya asks him to submit and break that rule, man; I thought that was a hot scene. H.O.T. There is a little twist in the story that I didn’t see coming but it was good and I enjoyed the outcome.

This is a seriously HOT read. I have to confess that I have not read any of the others in this series, but that will be remedied very soon, as the writing is good, and the storyline is excellent.

I have read a few Domme stories, and have tended to find them either somewhat cruel, or weak. But this is definitely not the case here. The connection between the two leads is really enjoyable to read, and see unfold. The D/s relationship develops in a fascinating manner, and the scenes are incredibly erotic. There is also a good plot underlying the whole book. Can't wait to catch up with the whole series.
