The Billionaire Book Club Questionnaire
#1: Who is your least favorite character in the book?
Me—Caplin Hawkins. I am an absolute idiot.
#2: Who is your favorite character?
Gorgeous, addictive, insanely challenging Ruby.
She’s smart, driven, self-confident, and so beautiful, she makes my chest ache.
#3 What is your biggest takeaway from the story?
Ruby Rockford and I are meant to be.
I just have to prove it to her.
For the entirety of my adult life, I’ve been content.
Content in my single lifestyle, content in my stressful-but-extremely-successful job as the main corporate counsel for almost every Fortune 500 company in North America, and content in my playful, spontaneous ways.
I had no idea it was possible for someone to change my mind.
The endless women and work are no longer enough, and just as Ruby Rockford told me—it’s about time I grow up.
It’s going to take a strategic attack from more than a couple brilliant minds to win her affection, but luckily, I know exactly where to find the right guys for the job…
The Billionaire Book Club.
It’s safe to say that I, Caplin Hawkins, the man most women would call The Ultimate Player, have finally met my match, and man oh man, has my end game changed.
I’m coming for you, Ruby.
And soon, you’ll be coming for me, too.

M/F romance
Caplin (Cap) is your typical manwhore in this story. He is cocky, successful, the guy everyone wants to be, and he knows that everyone wants him. His group of friends were all like him at one point, but now some of his friends have found that one person they want to spend their lives with. Cap isn’t there yet and likes to poke at the guys who are.
Ruby is living her life the way that she wants. With a father who understands her and a mom who is somewhat overprotective, Ruby knows that living in the city is not what her parents wanted. However, with her law degree almost finished, a side job that allows her to pay the bills and read amazing books, and a best friend who would do anything for her, Ruby believes that she’s happy.
Cap and Ruby have a wonderful story. It runs the gauntlet of emotions from disgust to anger, lust to love. I found myself sighing at times and laughing out loud during others.
I really enjoyed watching these two dance around themselves and each other. This was more than just a romance. It was a story about figuring out what would make them happy and fighting for it.
I believe that all book lovers will fall in love with this story. I hope we get to see them again.

This is a standalone, but also part of a series! I have not read them all, but love that the billionaires in question are such a fun and diverse group. This time it is Cap's turn to find love... much to his chagrin and denial. It is incredibly funny, and as Max Monroe warn at the outset – do think carefully where you read this, as you are likely to laugh out loud, or possible even snort at some of the funniest bits!
Ruby is a super busy, third year law student. She fills every second with work and study. Her mother calls regularly, convinced that living in New York will result in Ruby being kidnapped, sold as a sex slave, or something similar. These phone calls, and then subsequently meeting her parents, are very amusing moments – and I feel that most mums reading this book will suddenly be able to point out that they really aren't overprotective at all! Covering for her best friend on the desk at the Law Library, she meets Caplin Hawkins (super successful corporate lawyer)... and the rest, well you need to read the book! But rest assured that he is a man who gets what he wants, though he usually only wants it the once.
When you find out about the book club, be ready to really exercise your smiling muscles – I can only imagine how much fun was had in plotting out this fabulous comedy!
Rest assured that you will have a smile on your face, regular chuckles, and a good laughter muscle workout. I read it pretty much in one sitting because I just needed to know how it was possibly going to work out. Enjoy!

I must admit that Cap Hawkins is my second favorite billionaire. His determination to find a way around Ruby's defenses was priceless. And Thatch. That big motherfluffer has his moments and without Thatch, Cap's plan to win Ruby's heart would have never had worked.
Ruby is very determined to not be another notch on Cap's bedpost. She's been doing a great job of managing her life just fine, until she meets Cap. Somehow he's wormed his way into her life, and heart.
I adored this book and can't wait to read Lena's book. I just wonder if Thatch is going to take Cassie to Milan...

What do you get when you combine a billionaire, playboy lawyer with a quiet, studious bookworm? I'd suggest reading The Billionaire Book Club to find out.
This was a cute story, not deep or emotionally involved, it produced a few snorts but no outright belly laughs. I will say that my sense of humor is probably broken, as it seems I'm among the minority when I read romantic comedies.
Cap is the hero; his cape is broken, but he has his sights set on a law student after a chance encounter in the law library. Cap isn't used to being denied and won't let a refusal get him down. Ruby is a headstrong, quiet and reserved, self-proclaimed bookworm. She knows what she needs to do and goes all in to meet her goals. She isn't interested in a playboy, she doesn't need distractions, and she most certainly doesn't need Caplin.
The premise was cute, the writing was okay, and the characters were likeable. My favorite part of the entire story was the grand gesture – totally worth three stars on its own.
The Billionaire Boys each have their own personalities, and I'm just not into the player... but I can't wait for the next book!
