This is the sixth book in the series, and there is a thread running through all the books, although this could stand alone too.
Ilias has finally realised that his boyfriend is not a good guy and taken the unusual step of standing up for himself. As he is a bear shifter, this might seem a bit of a surprise, but he has a gentle and giving nature. Luckily, he meets Henry, a doctor, when he is called out to a suspected robbery at Dr. Torres’ clinic. The two men have a clear attraction and Henry has a willingness to give and take, which is a revelation to Ilias.
This is a sweet novella with a lovely couple finding each other under difficult circumstances and making a change for the better.

A native Texan, Bailey spends her days spinning stories around in her head, which has contributed to more than one incident of tripping over her own feet. Evenings are reserved for pounding away at the keyboard, as are early morning hours. Sleep? Doesn't happen much. Writing is too much fun, and there are too many characters bouncing about, tapping on Bailey's brain demanding to be let out.
Caffeine and chocolate are permanent fixtures in Bailey's office and are never far from hand at any given time. Removing either of those necessities from Bailey's presence can result in what is known as A Very, Very Scary Bailey and is not advised under any circumstances.
