“Babe.” His dark eyes sway to my mouth, and during the brief pause of silence, my hormones dare my fingers to reach out and touch him. “We passed professional a few minutes ago when I heard about your secret pole dancing stunt, not to mention, seeing your intimate apparel. I need clothes. I need my yoga pants and a tee shirt—a stained, already worked out in, smelly, offensive tee shirt. “No, maybe not, but the way I see it, what you want really doesn’t matter right now, does it? Or would you rather stay here for the night?” His head tilts back, and a wolfish grin strikes his mouth as though he already knows the answer. “Don’t worry, I won’t hold this naughty little stunt against you. “And what exactly do you want?” I sit up straight, ignoring the sexy little twitch of his left eye.

I glare at him, tightening the gown around me. “And that’s it?”

Steele Kane is a professional stuntman and has been for years. When his latest movie has an insurance agent going over every one of his stunts to determine if they are too dangerous or not. Because if they are, then the insurance company has to pay out. While Steele sees the woman as the person to stop his most daring stunts, he also sees the strong, kind of stand-offish woman that pulls at him in every way. He wants to get to know her better but she is determined to do her job and get as far from him as she can.

Jaylyn Rigsby only wants to do her job and get out of California quick. She doesn't want to spend any time with Steele Kane because he is bad for her female hormones. She seems to be drawn to him in more ways than one. But she has to be strong, do her job, and leave. But when Steels keeps wearing her down, she gives in and asks, "Are you sure I won't fall in love with you?" Oh yeah, she is in trouble.

Can Steele and Jay get over the past and have a future together? Will she be able to be with him if he continues to be a stuntman and her the insurance agent? What happens if her gets hurt, will she be able to cope?

I am loving these brothers, and this is my favorite so far. While Steele keeps saying he can't be loved, you just know that he will fall the hardest. The pain both Steele and Jay went through in their past will have you feeling it off the pages. If you love a great story and the love of many brothers, then you need to start this series, this is only book two and I can't wait for book three to see what happens with Crash.
