Another One by Aleatha Romig Blog Tour

Get ready to laugh out loud, swoon, and fall in love with this new, fun, and sexy stand-alone novel from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig. Demonstrating her versatility in writing, Aleatha revisits her lighter side that you loved in Plus One.

A complete stand-alone, Another One is the next big summer hit.

*Shana*

Trevor Willis is sexy, sweet, and oh so fun. He’s also my best friend’s brother-in-law. That should mean he’s off-limits, or that I should be off-limits to him.

Someone probably should have told us that before my best friend married his brother, before the morning of the wedding when we woke in each other’s arms with gaping holes in my memory.

They didn’t.

We did.

The hilarious truth behind our crazy, secret adventure secured this handsome, off-limits man in my heart. But alas, life goes on. After our one secret night, we went back to our lives—our hardworking, solitary lives.

And then it happened.

My phone began to buzz. Each night with thousands of miles between us, we laughed, talked, and shared. And then, the phone stopped ringing.

Before it did, I knew one thing...

Our secret one had bloomed and blossomed, and now that our circumstances have changed I want another one!

*Trevor*

Shana Price is that one woman. You know, the one who suddenly makes the world more than a place to work, but also a place to live. Usually shy and awkward, in her presence I want to be more—I am more. I don’t even have to try.

She’s my one. I knew it the moment I first met her. What followed simply confirmed it.

The problem is the little hassle of the thousands of miles between us.

I tried to make it work, but each phone call made it harder. (Yes, that is a pun) I couldn’t take it any more—and she became the one who got away.

Now, everything has changed.

Shana is back in the United States—all I have to do is make her see that her job isn’t the only reason to stay.

That shouldn’t be a problem, right?

From a secret one to another one!

Trevor~

Sweet and tangy.

Shana Price tastes like sugar with a twist of lemon.

My mind tells me to go slow, reminding me that I don’t have any right to this beautiful woman. My mind is saying to stop, yet her soft moan is all I hear.

My body has its own GPS with the destination close. Listening to my mind is out of the question.

Her petite body shivers as I tease her sweet lips. They willingly part as my tongue delves inside, wrestling with hers.

Not giving up its fight, my thoughts remind me how forward this behavior is and how it isn’t like me. Trevor Willis is not a man who chases a woman down, pins her against the wall, and kisses her until neither of us can breathe or cares.

It’s not me.

But, it should be.

I like it.

I won’t blame the alcohol. I’ll blame my need to know it’s really Shana and to claim her for my own. I didn’t do it last time, and I’ve regretted it every day since.

When her hands come to my chest, I seize them, lifting them above her head and pinning them to the wall. Shana doesn’t fight; instead, her hips move against mine and our kiss grows more passionate. In the dark, crowded hallway, with my body pressed against hers, I swallow the soft moans coming from her throat.

At that moment, I want to be anywhere but a crowded bar in the middle of Manhattan. I no longer care about Eric’s bachelor party or my friends. I don’t even care about Kimbra back out in the bar. All I want is to whisk Shana away and do what we didn’t do before, what her body and mine are ready and aching to do.

This is another one from the lighter side of Aleatha Romig and I loved everything about it. Shana is a strong, beautiful, career woman and Trevor is the shy, strong silent type. Well, he was until he met Shana. She seems to bring out the talker in him and he wants to see where things go between them.

Trevor works for a firm in New York as an architect, he moves around for his job. While Shana works for Saks, she has been in London for the last couple years. Now she’s back in New York and maybe for a new job position. Which would be good for them both.

After Shana and Trevor spend every minute together they can before she has to go back to London, can they make a long-distance relationship work? Will Shana be able to leave without having her heart broken? Can Trevor let her go this time? What will Trevor do to make the relationship work?

This is a fun, sexy, and all around great story. It will have you smiling all the while you are reading, and it will leave you with the feelings of love that Trevor and Shana have for each other. So sit back and enjoy this one, and I hope you love it as much as I did.

M/F Romance

This is a sweet story of Romig's lighter stories. It has a cute plot that will have you cheering for the couple and their friends.

Shana is an awesome woman. She knows what she wants and goes for it. Even when things are not going as planned, she is quick on her feet and willing to do pretty much anything to make sure her projects go on without a hitch. Despite having a strange, yet strong connection with her best friend's brother-in-law at her best friend's wedding, she has had to kind of forget that connection since he lives in the States and she lives in Europe. When the opportunity presents itself for her to come to the States for a show, not only does she jump at it, but she makes it a huge success... now if only she could see a certain someone while she's back stateside.

Trevor never forgot Shana. Despite wanting to make it work, with their conflicting schedules and the immense distance, it just wasn't a plausible scenario. He loves what he does and is willing to do quite a bit to ensure that his company is a success. When another buddy needs a bachelor party thrown, Trevor and his friends all gather to celebrate. What he doesn't expect is to see Shana baring almost everything at a fashion show they all are attending... Can he win the girl and get her to stay this time?

Shana and Trevor have some great chemistry and are hilarious as well. I loved their banter and really enjoyed watching their relationship develop. I think that this was a very sweet story about following your heart, but not losing yourself either. I can't wait to see what happens next!

This is the second in the series – it can certainly be read as a standalone, but everything does start at Kimbra's wedding, the lead in book one. Slightly confusingly, the third in this series was out last September, but it is also a good read.

Shana and Trevor met, got close, but did not do the deed, and then Shana went back to London where she worked. Two years later she is back in New York, and by a number of quirks of fate – but they completely work – they meet again under quite unusual circumstances. Be ready for some proper laughs here! Now they have to decide whether to take that chance that was so tempting before, whether those feelings that they are harbouring can survive the distance, the issues of closeness via Kimbra, and... well everything really.

Ms. Romig does light very well (as she also does dark!) and this is a really fun, frolic-filled story with some lovely insights into the world Shana works in, and some great side characters – like Stephen, who know her very well. I like Trevor's serious nature, and he is the perfect foil for Shana – they just have to work that out for themselves!

A really fun addition to the series, thank you, Ms. Romig!
