End Game by Sean Michael

Things are changing again for the foursome. Can they weather these changes as they do everything else—together?

Things are changing again for Bishop, Knight, Rook and Jason. Not only is Jason going back to school, but Knight has bought a cottage on a lake several hours away, and none of them are quite sure what it all means for their family of four.

As Knight loses himself in his art at the cottage and Jason begins the hard work needed to keep up with school, Rook and Bishop call each other often to stay in touch, but it isn’t the same thing as all four of them being together.

Could this be the beginning of two couples and the end of their foursome just when Jason was settling into being a part of this weird but wonderful family? Or will they find a way to make it work just like they have everything else?

Reader Advisory: This book contains use of urethral sounds and foursomes. It is best read in sequence as part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

Publisher's Note: This book was previously released under the same title. It has been expanded for re-release with Pride Publishing.

This book was hard for me; I hated how most of the book the foursome was separated. These guys work so well as a foursome and it just seemed off and odd without them all together. Each couple worked well together but the dynamics are off the charts when they are all four there. It was a great book and I hate to see the series come to an end. I want more!

Characters: Well written
Sex: Yes, so hot
Religious: No
Would I recommend to others: Yes
More than one book in the series: Yes
Genre: M/M/M/M/Romance
Would I read more by this author: Yes

I love this foursome but changes in their lives has Knight and Bish staying in the country house while Knight works. I enjoyed seeing the two couples independently and watching them figure out how to make their foursome work. Ultimately, they all belong together and I loved reading their very lovely and very dirty story. I'm really going to miss Jase, Rook, Knight and Bish.

Don't get me wrong, I am loving this series, BUT End Game just felt a little empty to me. There was sex and more sex with very little to none on plot. After the heavy plot in En Prise and in Helpmate, End Game just seemed a little fluffy.

Things are changing. Knight has found that the cabin Bishop has taken him to is the perfect place for him to paint. When he buys the place, Rook and Jason fear what this means for the foursome. Are they turning into two couples who get together occasionally, essentially splitting up the family? Is this the end of the foursome?

I love the series, the characters. I can't wait to see how it ends. This one, unfortunately, just wasn't for me.

This is the fifth in a series, and definitely needs to be read in order. After the dramatic events of book 3, and the recovery in book 4, I felt that book 5 was a bit of a holding zone – with the title it has, I guess I should have worried it was the end of the series, but thankfully, I knew there was more to come.

All through the books has been the indication that Bishop and Knight have a particular bond, and now so do Rook and Jason, so the fact that the quartet is spending a lot of time as couples is maybe as we were expecting – especially if this is the end game – however, Mr. Michael has such a way of getting us hot under the collar when they are all together, that the couples solution just seems wrong. Undoubtedly there is a forward motion in the men's lives, but as I said before, to me this was a holding pattern book, and I am looking forward to the next installment with great interest.

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organising his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and pursuing the kama sutra by channelling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago".

A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.

Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.
