I didn't think Colt and Jace's story could be outdone, I was wrong. I just spent the last two days with Mitch and Cody. I love them! This was such a sweet boy meets boy love story. The action and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat, the raw emotion brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait to get my hands on Nice Guys #3!!

Mitch Knox is a US Marshal. He has that don't mess with me presence about him. But he doesn't take himself too seriously (which is obvious by his t-shirt collection). He has been working on a case that started in Double Full, gay men being targeted either being killed or severely hurt. After Colt got attacked, Mitch was all in on the investigation doing most on his own time. When a senator’s son is targeted, the FBI finally opens the case with Mitch taking the lead.

Cody Turner is an Austin Highway State Trooper who was just promoted to
the Mounted Patrol. Cory has hopes of being a Texas Ranger one day. When Cory decides to drive out to see his horse he will be using after visiting the Texas Hall of Fame, he stays the night in Austin.

When Cody and Mitch meet at an Austin Club, sparks fly. Mitch can't seem to keep Cody off is mind when he goes back to DC for his case. Can these two men make it work? Will Cody let Mitch stand in his way of his dreams?

Mitch Knox is a US Marshall, he is working on a case that no one seems to think is important. A night out with friends Colt and Jace leads Mitch to meet Cody Turner. Cody turns Mitch’s world upside down in a matter of minutes. Cody is a small town guy who just found out he got the promotion that he has always wanted, to be a Texas Ranger. When Cody sees Mitch at the club he is instantly attracted but thinks Mitch is only after a one night stand. Just when things are getting hot, Mitch receives a phone call, someone in an important government family has been targeted and probably involved in the case Mitch has been working forever and now he has to sprint to DC because all eyes are on the case now. Mitch can’t get Cody out of his head, he didn’t even get his number but he has friends that can get that for him and he calls Cody. The case Mitch is investigating is intense and even leads things to Cody’s doorstep. Mitch and Cody get to know each other and in true Kindle Alexander style it is hot and steamy and the connection and attraction can be felt by the reader every step of the way. This is another must read book. You have to see what happens with the case and with Cody and Mitch, you won’t be disappointed.

Characters: The characters were well written and believable and you couldn’t help but fall in love with Mitch and Cody.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it... It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
