If it’s not broke
don’t fix it.
That was Cash’s motto in life, and his life was perfect. He was living the life of the lieutenant of The Last Riders, and had women at his beck and call. The only thing he saw himself settling down with in the future was a twelve pack; certainly not Rachel Porter, who was on his short no fuck list. Hell, she wasn’t even his type—her tits were too small, and her mean mouth could shrivel a man’s dick. How was he supposed to know she was special and worth putting up with those weed-producing hillbillies? Or was she?
Rachel had lived her whole life watching Cash break one woman’s heart after another. He was everything she shouldn’t want; a bad boy biker with enough sex appeal to make any woman want a night in his bed. Even her. Heck, he wasn’t even her type—he didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut, and he lived in a sex club. How was she supposed to know that he was special and worth putting up with the biker wars and biker bitches? Or was he?

“Which room is yours?”
“Go to Hell.”
“Shh... or you’ll wake everyone up. Either tell me which room is yours, or I’ll turn you over my knee here and Cheryl might wake up and see.”
Rachel felt ashamed of herself. She couldn’t understand why she had overreacted in the first place. Maybe because he had compared Cheryl to Sleeping Beauty and all she got was the reproach for protecting a friend.
“The next door on the left.”
Cash turned out the light. Then, holding her arm tightly, he dragged her into her bedroom, flipping on the light switch before he closed the door with a quiet snap.
Rachel tried to forestall the fury that she saw had a hold of him. “I’m sorry, Cash. I apologize.”
“I’m tired of taking the shit you Porters dish out.” Cash sat down on her bed, pulling her over his lap. Rachel gasped, barely able to stop herself from screaming out loud.
His hand lifted her skirt, showing her frilly pink panties.
“I always wondered if you wore panties or boxers.” She deserved the sarcasm he was throwing her way, but it still hurt her feelings to be compared to a boy.
When his hand smacked her ass, Rachel jumped, but a hard hand pressed down on the middle of her back, holding her in place as several more hard smacks landed on her butt. She remained quiet, though; determined that, no matter how much it hurt, she wouldn’t make a noise. If her brothers ran in here and saw Cash, they would shoot him, and as bad as she hated him right then, she didn’t want him dead.

I read this book as a stand-alone. I wish I would have read the other four books first, just to get more back history on some of the conversations or events talked about. I was confused at first with all the names being thrown around, I had to slow down and reread some to figure out who was who. I do however plan on adding the rest of the series to my TBR list.
I found Cash's Fight to be very enjoyable. At times wanted to kill both the main characters for their stupidity. I was tearing up in some place, and brought to the edge of my seat in others. When I finish a book like this that is when I know it was good, my emotions were all over and I wanted more of the story, the written ending wasn't enough for me.
Cash is a member of The Last Riders MC club. He's a man whore, he sleeps with women he just met, women that are with other men, club women. Since high school he has been getting into fights with the Porter brothers. As an adult nothing seems to change, they hate each other.
Rachel Porter is nothing like her brothers. She's quiet, always helping everyone, and kind. She has been in love with Cash since they were children. When Rachel finally gives her virginity to Cash she thinks it's something special for both of them, but slapped with the reality that she was just another night for Cash, something inside her changes. In her eyes Cash isn't the man she thought he was. Can he get her brothers permission to date her? Will she ever change her new opinion of Cash? Are they worth the fight?

Having read only the first book in The Last Riders series, I was excited by the prospect of reading Cash's Fight being as it could be read as a stand-alone. While there were references to previous books in the series, I didn't feel as though I were missing vital information. With that said, I had some difficulty in connecting with Cash and spent the first third of the book on the fence and were it not for Rachel's character, I might not have finished it. Thankfully I stuck with it and thoroughly enjoyed the book.
Oddly enough for me, Rachel was the most interesting character in the book. I tend to lean toward the alpha male, especially when he's a biker, but her character was such an intriguing blend of characteristics. Her generosity knows no bounds and is only surpassed by her loyalty to those who are important to her. I was fascinated by her character progression from the shy and quiet tomboy to the sexy vixen when she tapped into her sexuality. It was astounding to me that someone who was so generous of herself to others was so unknown to the people in her life. And that may be why I didn't like Cash in the beginning as much as I expected to. He knew that she was sheltered by her brothers and wasn't like the women at the club, so he acknowledged to himself that he had to give her time to adjust. Yet when she would hesitate in situations he would interpret it as her judging him and his lifestyle and then get angry. He never took the time to ask her if she was okay or considered that her discomfort was personal – which it tended to be as she was self-conscious around the other women. This irritated me and came off as hypocritical on Cash’s part.
Fortunately his determination to win Rachel and his "you can't get pregnant when..." statements (the first of which had me worried and the second of which tipped his hand) won me over. As expected, the sex was hot, but I must admit that I was initially surprised when he let Train join in, until he clarified how much Train would be participating ... so again, HOT! Cash's Fight was a great read and I will definitely be going back and reading books 2-4 as I want to learn more about the couples that have already gotten together by this book and the rest of the members of The Last Riders.

I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.
Taking after my mother, I’ve always love to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.
For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children who both graduate this year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.
Currently I am writing four series of books- The Last Riders, The Dark Souls, The VIP Room, and Biker Bitches series. My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother, and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.
All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas that will hopefully be this summer. Right now I am typing away on my next story and looking forward to traveling this summer!

Cathryn Williams is the oldest and only female in a family of four children. While born on the east coast, she has lived all over the country. Her father’s job as an engineer caused the family to move throughout her entire youth. She has spent time in Texas, Idaho, and Nevada before moving back to the eastern part of the country as an adult.
It was during these early years that her love of literature began, starting with Nancy Drew and growing with the Sweet Valley High series stories. This passion grew with each book and has caused her to transition into writing her own stories. Cathryn’s inspiration stems from a diverse childhood, loving family, and oversized lapdog Scarlet. When not giving life to her characters, she enjoys traveling, marathoning TV shows, and spending time with her family.
