A
snowy cabin with one bed? That’s only the first step toward Gideon falling in
love.
Gideon is too old to be fought over at Christmas by divorced parents who should
know better. The prospect of a Christmas on his own is better than having to
face either of them. When Rowan hires him for a wintery break in Maine, it
seems like a safe choice until his PA’s meddling family shows him something
entirely new: Love.
Rowan hiring his boss for a trip back to his moms’ place for Christmas sounded
like a good idea at the time. Killing two birds with one stone, he can cheer up
Gideon and possibly steal a kiss under the mistletoe. After all, he’s been
hiding his attraction to the man for years, and maybe with some Christmas
magic, he can help Gideon see what is right under his nose.

– ☆☆☆☆
Surly, socially awkward, workaholic Gideon is an unlikely romantic hero. Even
more surprising is his attraction to his PA, Rowan. Charming, effervescent
Rowan is devoted to his family – and for some reason, equally devoted to his
growly boss.
This is a simple, entertaining holiday romance. When Rowan drags Gideon home to
his warm, large, and slightly chaotic family for the holidays, Gideon’s grinch-like
heart grows three sizes… Right. It’s not an entirely original story, but it is
a fun, easy read. Fans of this series will enjoy the banter, the chemistry, and
the easy mix of new and familiar characters. I love Rowan’s quirky family and
Rowan himself is very easy to love. The writing is solid and even Gideon
becomes likeable by the end.

This is the third book in the series, and I would recommend that you read them
in order for the full goodness, but I think they stand alone well too. The
really fun thing about this book is that the owner of the boyfriends for hire
business gets his very own happily ever after, and by being hired... by his PA!
Fans of the series will know that Rowan has had feelings for his boss Gideon
for a while, but fears doing anything about it, in case he loses his fabulous
job and the time he spends with Gideon already. But then he needs a fake
boyfriend to take home for Christmas and so the adventure begins.
Gideon would do anything to avoid both his parents at Christmas, and this year
the stars align to enable him to do just that, but can he keep his attraction
to Rowan under control? Whilst he has an amazing time with Rowan's family, he also
sees what he has missed out on for so long. Now he has to decide whether he can
risk ruining his best working relationship and turn it into a forever one.
Such a sweet, sexy, and happiness-inducing read, and completely in character
with the men we have met in previous stories.

MEREDITH
RUSSELL is an author, cover artist and vampire slayer. Okay, she may have made
that last one up, but that’s what she loves about writing—the possibilities. No
matter where her stories are set—from fantastical worlds of zombies and
werewolves to the ambling life of an English village—she strives to write about
romance and the tales of men searching for their happy ever after. Meredith
writes the stories she loves to read—complex, emotional, a journey, and
sometimes unexpected.
In 2012 Meredith had her first novels published, as well as being commissioned
to do her first cover design. She now splits her time between populating
fictional worlds with characters she adores, and helping other authors bring
theirs to life through cover art. She has had a number of popular releases,
including Dead Things, Just Jack, and both the Sapphire Cay and Boyfriend
for Hire series written with RJ Scott.
