Calculated Risk brings you back to the world of the Blackbridge Security team and this story is about Quinten and Hayden. He is tasked to teach a class on gun use to a group of women who are in need of self-defense. Each one has been looked into to make sure they are in the class for the right reasons. When Quinten sees Hayden, there is something about her that draws him in, he wants to know her story and why she is in the class.

Hayden doesn't want to be in the class, she just wants her life back. She sees the handsome alpha male teaching the class, but she doesn't want to get close to him. Can she trust him enough to teach her how to get her life back?

I have loved each of these stories and I think this one is my favorite so far. And I have to say, I am still loving that crazy bird, Puff Daddy. He will make you laugh at any time.

Grab this series and start reading, you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait for more.

Quinten is not one for being patient when it comes to his job. He likes to be the fixer. To get in, get things done, and get out. But when he’s somehow roped in to teaching a gun safety class, with no wiggle room to escape, he knows he’ll just have to suck it up.

Hayden has had her personal bubble popped, and now she’s being dragged to a gun safety class by her best friend. It’s all she can do just to show up to the class, but when the instructor is rude and a jerk, she knows she should’ve just stayed home and had some wine in her sweatpants.

With Quinten and Hayden off to a rocky start, they both have to learn to give and receive lessons, attitude, and love. You will love their chemistry and I really liked how Quinten was willing to wait Hayden out.

The conflict in the story was slightly strange for me. It felt like an afterthought. And while I did enjoy the story, the best friend’s dalliance with the other member of Blackbridge Security was also somewhat distracting.

However, I thought that these characters were well planned and had good chemistry. I am looking forward to reading more of this series.
