I liked this book but the attraction between Vik and Harper seemed a little forced at times. For me, I had a hard time connecting this book as a MC book as there was little to no interaction with the club or many of its members.

I think I would have enjoyed this book a whole lot more if we’d have gotten more of the MC life – there just isn’t a lot of interaction with the club and I found that very disappointing. Though this book is definitely hot, it was a lot more sex than romance/story and it didn’t keep my attention. I didn’t dislike this story, I just didn’t love it so I’m giving 3 stars.

Harper was recently dumped by her longtime boyfriend and on a night out with her girls, she winds up at Vik’s tattoo shop to get a tattoo. Vik is all about getting with Harper for a week or so – it takes some convincing but Harper and Vik wind up in a friends-with-benefits type situation. Vik knows he’s not long-term material and sets out to find Harper the perfect forever man, which of course, turns into a crazy time for them both.

On the one hand, I found it a refreshingly new plotline for Vik to be game to help Harper find another man. At the same time, that is so unlike the usual MC-alpha male that it made things weird. I’m just up in the air on this story and probably won’t be reading further into the series.
