Kian by Tijan

Dark. Mysterious. Gorgeous.
Loved by all the girls.
Respected by all the guys.
...that was Kian Maston.

As the heir to a billion dollar empire, his future was promising until the day he saved my life. Everything changed for both of us, and there was one more word that could be used to describe him—dangerous.

The nation fell in love with him while falling in hate with me. He was sent to prison, and as far as they were concerned, it was my fault. I was forced to go into hiding until today.

Kian's being released from prison, and he should go back to being the golden boy he always was supposed to be. I should remain in hiding, living my life as normal as could be.

That's what we should do...

Kris☆☆☆
Let me start with, I LOVE TIJAN! That being said...well, Kian wasn't the best work ever. It was certainly entertaining enough that I finished it and that says more than some other authors and books I've read. Kian had all the ingredients of Tijan's books but somewhere the story sorta fell flat for me.

I liked Kian like I've liked all the male leads in Tijan's other books, so I guess maybe it was the lead female character, Jo? I think maybe it was the side characters more than the main ones. Usually there's a really nasty bad girl in the mix and while the character, Susan, was close, she was more after the roommate than the lead heroine, Jo. In any case, enjoyable enough read. Back to the Broken & Screwed series for me.

Tijan started writing later in life, after she had already graduated college with a different direction in mind and a different degree under her belt. Hitting the brakes on that path, she taught herself how to write a good book and began posting at sites such as Fictionpress, along with Wattpad. After receiving such encouraging messages from readers, she self-published Fallen Crest High and has continued throughout the year. She continues to keep writing NA books!
