Zach Johnson is the outcast of his family. He hasn't had any contact with them in almost ten years. He's gay and very out of the closet. When he returns to his home town for his mother's funeral, he wants to make it clear he is living life on his terms, the extra tight pants, the two sizes too small shirt, the eyeliner. He's making a statement.
He plans for a quick trip. The funeral and one night at his brother’s. He can't wait to get back to LA until he meets his brother's friend Aaron. One look at Aaron and Zach is frozen on the spot, his breath is gone. Can this one man change everything he knew? Can he change his slut ways? Can he see past his one night stands for a future?
He Completes Me is such a sweet love story. Sometimes Aaron was over the top sweet but Zach's snarky inner conversations make up for the extra sweetness. There is such a chemistry between the two of them. Love it!

I am an ardent fan of Cardeno C.'s work, so I was delighted to read this series re-edited for 2015. Never have I been disappointed; the story-lines are delightful, the men are scrumptious and the writing is engaging. As you will find as you read through the series, the stories interlink, but each one is perfect on its own too. They give us the long view of these relationships, which is refreshing in the insta-love world that has emerged.
Here we meet the wild and proud Zach, who has long been estranged from his family, but returns for his mother's funeral. He meets Aaron, who is really almost too good to be true, and they both recognise the connection. Zach however is not keen to change his player ways. As we see the world through his POV, it is fun travelling the journey as he comes to understand what is important after all. I really enjoyed how things changed for him, and how we get to experience it alongside him.
