“It’s...” he started, but then shook his head. “It’s nothing. I just want you to be cautious. Extra cautious. There’s no reason to put yourself in any extra danger.”

I felt a little heat rise up in my chest, and I couldn’t keep the irritation out of my voice. “Jeremy, how many times do I have to tell you, I signed up for danger? I knew what I was getting into. Can you just please trust me to handle myself?”

We join spy Christy as she goes undercover in a New York City school to investigate a car stealing ring backed by her handler Jeremy and two other agents.

I love the way Ms. Hogan writes. There are so many threads to her stories and she reveals things at just the right time and keeps you guessing. She also does a great job keeping you on the edge of your seat as the investigation unfolds and ends up where you don't expect.

I had a great time reading Hotwire. If you are after a fast paced, young adult mystery with a side of romance, I would recommend Hotwire.

Christy is back for another round of adventures. Finding out who is stealing cars is no big deal after her last time. There’s no way it could end up like it did before, right?

Jumping back into the world of division 57 was great. I loved Christy’s strong character in book 1 and she didn’t disappoint at all in this one. More action than the first and a slightly harder edge.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through.
I really liked the main character Christy, she had sass.
What I loved was this book kept me guessing and did not reveal the plot straight away.
If you want an action packed book that will keep you up to the wee hours of the night, this is the book for you.

18 year old spy, Christy goes undercover in a high school to bust a kidnapping ring. I enjoyed going undercover with Christy on her first mission. This story really is an adrenaline rush and moves at a good pace.

The story had twists and turns I wasn't expecting. In my wildest dreams I never would have guessed what was happening to the kids that had been kidnapped. I do have to say there was a small part of this book that that I found to be horrific and it had a huge impact, as I'm sure was the author's intention. Those moments were made more horrific because the author was not overly graphic in her descriptions, leaving a lot to the imagination. Ms. Hogan writes well.

This young adult read was a great change of pace from the dramatic romance/erotic fiction I often read and I really enjoyed it.

Like its name implies this books is full of things that leave you with a rush. Christy is a quick witted bubbly personality. She has the cocky quick on her feet that I love as well. The way the book reads was great and I cannot wait for the next one. As well as some of the twists along the way, an enjoyable read.

Cindy M Hogan is the bestselling and award winning author of the Watched trilogy, a YA suspense series with a dash of romance. She has since branched off to write a mystery, Gravediggers, that won Best YA novel of 2013, a contemporary romance, Confessions of a 16-Year-Old Virgin Lips, and the first in a spy series, Adrenaline Rush, the 2nd of which, Hotwire, is due out in Oct. 2014.

She graduated with a BA in education and is inspired by the unpredictable teenagers she teaches. More than anything she loves the time she has with her own teenage daughters and wishes she could freeze them at this fun age. If she's not reading or writing, you'll find her snuggled up with the love of her life watching a great movie or planning their next party. Most of all, she loves to laugh.
