Oh, how I love Sector 4 and the O'Kanes – let me count the ways: the family, the acceptance, the alpha males, the spunky/sexy women, the alcohol, and the sexy smut! The 5th book in this series DID NOT disappoint.
Trix, the resident red-head, starts the story being abducted and brought to her "home sector". Sadly, her options for escape are limited...until Finn finds her, bound, in Mac Fleming's office. The one guy she knew intimately, the one guy she deserted when she first fled the sector.
Honestly, this story was exciting, endearing, sexy, and everything I've come to expect from Sector 4.
Finn is the ultimate anti-hero, who learns to accept his own place in the fray, learns to accept love, and learns that his life is valued!
The chemistry between Finn & Trix is explosive, and their moments "together" are unbelievably sexy.
I think I, personally, have a new favorite O'Kane!

Fifth book in and still the great story lines continue. The combination of tension, passion, politics and torment alongside romance, family, loyalty and eroticism is breathtaking. One particular scene sticks in the mind as being so hot that you should read it sitting in an ice bath. The fact that the story is so compelling and the emotions are so viscerally displayed makes this an amazing read. Go, get a copy and see for yourself!
