I have to say that I have been waiting for Diesel and Tracey's story, and I was
not disappointed at all.
This story is filled with all things that make a story totally awesome, from
Diesel and Tracey's past to the way they are together, it is perfect.
I do have to say that this is one story that I highly recommend that you read
it even if you haven't read anything else from author Melissa Foster, it is
that awesome. And come on, look at that cover too. I love everything about this
series, and I think Running on Diesel has just become my favorite, if
that is possible. It is filled with angst, funny lines from Tracey, Diesel, all
the Whiskeys, and their friends. It's filled with friends, family, and
brotherhood. Something I love about reading any of Foster's books.
I hope you fall in love with Running on Diesel too.

This is the eighth book in this particular series, but as all Foster books, it
links across her whole world, and is all the richer for it. I am a huge fan and
am always delighted to get the chance to find out more about these lovely
families, and their lives and loves.
Diesel has been in our sights for a while, as he has been at Peaceful Harbor
helping out for the last couple of years. He has been keeping a close eye on
bartender Tracey, too, but well aware that given her past, he was far too big
and loud and utterly unsuitable for her – even if he is completely beguiled by
her.
Tracey moved in with a boyfriend who turned out to be abusive. She has pulled
herself up by her bootstraps and, thanks to the Whiskeys, she is much happier
and finally feels safe again. She is training in martial arts so that she can
protect herself should she ever need to and is making wise decisions about her
future. Her heart wants Diesel, but that is definitely not wise.
I loved the dance that these two play, and the way that the whole family gather
round and support them both as they consider taking a chance.
Another totally fascinating, sexy, and utterly adorable story. I highly
recommend this to you – so many revelations and second chances... enchanting.
