Code Name: Tiara by Sawyer Bennett Blog Tour

Code Name: Tiara. Everyone says we can’t be together, but how does one walk away from the other half of their heart?

I joined Jameson Force Security for three reasons: the missions, the danger, and the money. I definitely didn’t join the team to be an overpriced babysitter for a spoiled princess. Ask anyone who knows me, and they’ll tell you Jackson Gale is an adventurer through and through. Yet here I am, halfway across the world, watching over Princess Camille of the House Winterbourne. Even her name sounds stuck up.

After arriving in Bretaria, I realize that Princess Camille is nothing that I expected. Beautiful, smart, and sophisticated, Camille is the very picture of elegance and grace. But under her perfect façade, she is funny, adventurous, sexy as hell, and impossible to resist. And that is a dangerous combination.

The closer Camille and I become, the more obvious it is that while she and I are compatible in many ways, our destinies are not. She has a duty to the monarchy, and I’m just an average American who’s fallen for a princess. Everyone says we can’t be together, but how does one walk away from the other half of their heart?

I have loved getting to know each of the members of the Jameson Force team. Jackson Gale is no different, he has the background to be a member of this team and then some. But with this assignment he finds himself protecting a princess. He sees himself as a babysitter, but when he meets Princess Camille, he sees she is more than what he was thinking.

Princess Camille of the House of Winterbourne feels like a prisoner in her own home. The castle she lives in is on an island and after her 25th birthday, it will be announced that she will take over the throne if something happens to her father. But before her birthday, she gets to take a trip to the States, visiting New York, Atlanta, LA, and a few other stops. Before they leave on this tour, Camille feels that her father is not telling her all she needs to know. maybe she can get Jackson to tell her before this tour is over.

As they tour the States, Jackson and Camille grow close. There is a simmering heat between them and when they act on it, it may just burn them both.

As I said, I have loved each of the stories before this one, but I think this one is my favorite. It is filled with suspense, a relationship that breaks all the boundaries, and in the end, you will be rooting for Jackson and Camille. If you haven't started this series yet, you should. You will not be disappointed.

M/F Romance

Jackson is kind of an enigma. He is somewhat judgmental and doesn't want anything to do with protecting spoiled people, but he's fierce in his loyalty to his team. While he wants to prove himself to his dad, who poo poos his decision to leave the Navy for the private sector, Jackson knows that he's doing something important too.

Camille knows that she is supposed to ascend the thrown soon. However, she also wants to have some semblance of life before she has those roles piled onto her shoulders. She loves her people and her country, but when she's able to attend a cousin's wedding in the US and she has a few other stops to make on her "diplomatic" journey, the last thing she expects is to fall for her security.

Cami and Jackson are a strange match. While they both would like to live normal lives, both have family obligations foisted on them. And despite them wanting and loving what they do, they also crave some normalcy.

These two have a medium burn start to their relationship and I enjoyed watching them banter. The story felt a little rushed for me and it was also slightly anticlimactic, but I did enjoy it overall. Jameson Force Security books are entertaining, full of alpha males and smart women. You'll enjoy them!

This is the seventh book in the series – I have enjoyed them all, and would definitely recommend that you read them in order, just to get some of the dynamics, but you could read this as a standalone, and go back afterwards.

I have to admit that this book took a bit of a departure from the other books, which involved creating a whole royal kingdom. I have to confess that I found that bit a little fantastical, although very enjoyable. It was the ultimate in world building. Amusingly Jackson also finds the idea of being a bodyguard to a princess quite strange!

As he spends time with Camille, he sees how normal she is, and yet how devoted to her role and responsibilities. It is fun seeing them get close and appreciate each other as people without preconceptions. However, Camille expects to have to marry to satisfy her parents, so cannot take seriously her feelings for Jackson.

The underlying plot which explains why they feel that Camille needs additional security has some interesting twists and made sure that there is the traditional Code Name series tension. It is definitely a fun addition to the series, as it is quite different from previous storylines.
