Code Name: Omega by Sawyer Bennett Release Blitz

Code Name: Omega. Available Now.

I joined the team at Jameson Force Security three months ago and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Leaving behind the Marine Corps together, my dog Omega and I made the cross-country trek to Pittsburgh for an exciting new career. Now I get to spend my days doing dangerous missions with my team and Omega gets to spend his days relaxing, unless there are explosives to be sniffed, and then he’s all paws on deck.

When Omega—who I affectionately refer to as Bubba—snacks on something he most definitely shouldn’t have, an emergency trip to the vet introduces me to Abigail Blackburn. She’s a little quirky, a lot smart, and completely captivating. She also has a penchant for trouble and when Abby makes it her own personal mission to expose the puppy mill industry, she finds herself mixed up with unsavory characters who aren’t happy with her efforts to cut into their profits

This seedy underbelly is a dangerous place, particularly for a well-intentioned, yet somewhat naïve, small-town vet. What began as peaceful protests outside of local pet stores has escalated into something that threatens Abby’s safety, and I refuse to sit by and watch her get hurt. Somehow this raven-haired beauty has gotten under my skin, and I don’t hesitate to call in my teammates at Jameson to help keep her safe.

Now I find myself trying to balance my need to protect Abby while helping her successfully complete her mission, but also redirecting her focus long enough to show her that I’ve completely fallen for her. One thing is certain—this is going to be my toughest assignment yet.

I guess you can say that author Sawyer Bennett has saved the best for last. I fell head over heels for Kellen, Abby, Bubba, Princess, and the rest of the group. When I started, I didn't know this was the last of this fantastic series and I am sad to see it end.

Kellen and Abby get into something that the Jameson team offers to help him get out of and catch the bad guys. This story is filled with all of the feels it takes to make a story worth reading over and over.

As I said, I hate to see this series end but I know this author has another series in the wings and it will be as good as, if not better than, this one – if that is possible.

Kellen is now working at Jameson and he loves what he does. With his dog by his side, Kellen is content with his life. When he meets the new vet, Abby, Kellen can't help but see how gorgeous she is.

Abby hates that there are puppy mills in her town. She knows where they are and what they are doing, but she can't seem to get anyone else to care. When she helps Bubba with an ingested stuffed animal, then needs to help a "rescued" golden retriever, Kellen jumps at the chance to help Abby.

When trouble finds Abby again, Kellen knows that something has to be done. He wants to protect Abby and the dogs but knows that there isn't much he can do without the help of his friends. As everyone pulls together, it will solidify Abby and Kellen's relationship, along with Bubba and Princess' relationship too.

You won't be disappointed in this book. I can't wait for more!

This is the tenth book in the series – and whilst you could definitely enjoy this as a standalone, I really would ask, why would you? This whole series, and all the interlinking ones (including Wicked Horse), are just fabulous, and we get together with the whole team and see them all happy in their relationships.

Kellen is a new member of the Jameson family, but he soon learns that once he is in, they will go all out to support him. In this instance, his trouble comes in the form of a feisty, animal rights activist vet, Abigail, who treats his ex-service dog, Omega. As she continues to pursue her plans to free dogs from a puppy farm, Kellen is keeping an eye on her... and she is even more in need of help than anyone might have expected.

I loved watching the growing romantic relationship between Abby and Kellen; learning about their pasts; what makes them the people they are; and how the security they feel together gives them a chance to make peace with it all as they find the love between them. They are both lovely people who deserve all the good things, and their friends completely agree. Even Abby's family learns to move on from the past and want only the best for the future.

An excellent mix of suspense and romance, with the added bonus of super special dogs. Delicious reading, thank you, Sawyer Bennett, for the Jameson Force Security series.

We’ve got two choices. We can go eat cake, or we can have sex, and I really don’t think the cake is a good choice, which is a very weird thing for me to say since I love cake.

Code Name: Revenge by Sawyer Bennett Release Blitz

Code Name: Revenge

When Kynan McGrath approached me about joining Jameson Force Security, I jumped at the chance. Just call me Dozer Burney, one half of the genius duo who keeps the team at the forefront of security technology. The move from NASA to Jameson also put me back on the east coast, closer to those who mean the most to me.

Jessica Anderson has been my best friend since college. A single mom who found herself mixed up with a dangerous man years ago, she’s been living a safe, quiet life in Miami after helping police put him behind bars. We both knew her safety, and that of her daughter, was reliant on him staying locked up. So when I see an alert that he’s escaped from his maximum security prison, I know where he’s heading to exact his revenge.

Now it’s a race against time to get to Jessica before he does.

Protecting her with my life is easy, because there’s one thing I’ve never admitted to anyone, not even myself—I have been in love with Jessica Anderson since the day I met her. And if we both make it out alive, I’ll make sure she knows it every day for the rest of our lives.

M/F Friends-to-Lovers Romance

Dozer is one of those men who you know is just built to protect. He has a way about him – his friends and family know that he will protect them with everything he has and is. When he finds out that his best friend from back home is in danger, he goes full tilt to make sure she and her daughter are safe. Dozer loves both Jessica and her daughter and has since he met them. But he's only ever been Jessica's friend and confidant. While he knows that he loves her more than a friend, he's never wanted to change their relationship or ruin it.

Jessica is fun, smart, dedicated, and loyal. She has known Dozer for years and her daughter has the best godfather around. Even though she knows that she helped put someone bad away, when Dozer is at her doorstep in the middle of the night, she can't help but see him as her friend and protector. She's never let herself go there because she didn't want to ruin their relationship. Dozer is too important to her.

As Dozer and Jessica navigate the danger coming for them, both will have to decide if life together might just be what they both want and need. The suspense and romance are well balanced in this story. You won't be disappointed. I have loved each of these books and I can't wait for more from Bennett.

I think I fall in love more with each new book that comes out in this series. In each book, we still get the other characters, and that makes my heart happy, but there are new characters too.

Dozer is the other half of the genius duo behind the computers for Jameson Force Security but in this book, he is out in the field because he feels it is the only way he can protect Jessica.

Jessica and Dozer met in college and have been best friends since. He has been in love with her since he met her, but he has kept that to himself. Now that her life is in danger, he will tell her how he feels, that is, if he survives.

When Jessica finds out the plan that Dozer has in mind, she goes off on him. It takes a lot for him to explain why he is doing what he is doing. Will she accept that he wants to protect and keep her, her daughter, and her mother safe? Will there be a future for Dozer and Jessica?

I loved Dozer, Jessica, and Thea (Jessica's daughter). They were the best of friends who could laugh together, have fun, and love as a family. But when it was time to get serious, the team at Jameson Force Security was behind Dozer to help because it was someone he loved, even though no one knew her. That is how it works with this group and that is what I love most. I cannot wait for Code Name: Omega.

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the ninth book in the series, and they just are such good reads – I do recommend that you read them in order, as there are underlying plots which you might otherwise miss, but should you start here, I can bet that you will go back and enjoy the goodness anyway!

We know that Dozer is a standup guy, and he definitely deserves to get the girl – and the only girl he ever wanted, Jessica, got taken by his best friend first. But since she became a widow, he has stepped in and helped out with her daughter, Thea, and whilst they live at a distance, there is nothing he wouldn't do for them.

This story takes Dozer out of his comfort zone work-wise as he is on the team out in the field, rather than safe in his computer haven, and that adds to the tension for sure – but he does not disappoint with his heroics. After all, saving his one true love from an escaped felon is more important than his safety.

I loved the drama, the intensity, and yet also, the fun with Thea. Great shades of light and dark, moments of great passion, and then the guilt at being happy. Once Dozer and Jess had the courage to speak with each other, they recognised that their love was mutual and their dreams converged – but as two independent souls, it certainly took some dramatic change in events to get them to that point!

Another fabulous story with fun catchups with the group as a whole – such a big, accepting family, what is not to love?

If we both make it out alive, I’ll make sure she knows how much I love her every day for the rest of our lives.

Code Name: Disavowed by Sawyer Bennett Release Blitz

Code Name: Disavowed. Will the promise of a new future together be enough… Or will the same obstacles tear them apart again?

Life works in mysterious ways. Jameson Force Security has just received notice of a disavowed CIA agent in need of rescue in Central America. My blood runs cold when I learn that agent is none other than Greer Hathaway—my former fiancée.

Having gone our separate ways more than a decade ago, I still have bitter feelings toward Greer and the demise of our relationship. Those feelings don’t change the fact that I loved her more than anything, so I’m on the next flight out to embark on a rescue mission. Besides, Greer once saved my life, so now it’s time to return the favor and put her firmly in my past.

Face-to-face for the first time since ending our engagement, Greer and I are left with not only anger, unanswered questions and regrets, but also the undeniable chemistry we apparently still have. Will the promise of a new future together be enough, or will the same obstacles tear us apart again?

As with all of the Code Name books, this one did not disappoint. I wait for each of these team members' back stories and each will take you on a journey that will leave you feeling in awe of author Sawyer Bennett's writing style.

This one started with a disavowed CIA agent that needed to be rescued and Jameson Force Security is all too ready to go. And it didn't slow down from there, Ladd takes off to save the girl from his past and hopes to leave her there when they return. But when the rescue is over, the sparks between them are still there and sizzling even stronger.

As things go a little haywire, the team heads to Central America to bring down the bad guys. This story is filled with suspense, wonder, awe, lost love, fear, and a love to last. You need to read this one; once I started it, I only stopped to work, sleep, and eat. I hope you love it too.

M/F Second-chance romance

I have really enjoyed this series. Bennett has a way of writing back stories that pull you right in. You want to cheer for each character.

When CIA agent Greer is captured, she isn't sure if she's been disavowed or if she will be rescued. She has to think on her feet and know quickly who she can trust and who is the enemy. She knows the information she has is of great value to both sides and hopes that someone will come for her.

Ex-CIA agent Ladd has a great life. He loves his son, has a great co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife, and loves his job at Jameson. When a new case comes across their desks, and Ladd sees who it's about, he knows, without a doubt, that he'll be going. The woman who broke his heart is stranded and being held captive. He can't not go.

With the past dogging their every move, old feelings resurface that neither Greer nor Ladd can outrun. As they try to figure out who is pulling the strings behind Greer's capture, they both will have a hard look at where they went wrong when they were younger.

In the world of spies, it's hard to know who you can trust. Greer and Ladd have a second chance to figure out how to trust again. They will have to trust each other in order to uncover what really is going on and to know whether or not they can find their way back to each other.

You won't be disappointed in this book. It's fast-paced, well-developed, and you get to see the main characters really grow. Also, you get to see the next book's beginning and let's just say I can't wait!

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the eighth book in the series and I would definitely recommend them all to you - but if you wanted to start here and then go back to the beginning, you would get a great story even without all the nuance. And the complications in Jameson Force Security staff's love life are intense and as each one falls in love, the next steps up to take a chance!

We get to learn a great deal about Ladd and his past in this one, most especially that he married a totally wonderful, even if not for him, woman. Her level of happiness for them and kindness towards Greer was clearly a little overwhelming for her!

I loved the complications which Greer needing rescuing brought to the team, and the disavowing made me think of Burn Notice, which was a fun memory. I am a huge fan of the spy, double spy, greedy spy genre, and this one worked well for me. I am delighted that the outcome proved to be so satisfying. I loved that we got to know Greer better thanks to the women in Jameson Force Security being prepared to recognise when someone needs a friend and some reassurance, even if they are a badass.

Great new installment, thank you, Sawyer Bennett.

Code Name: Tiara by Sawyer Bennett Blog Tour

Code Name: Tiara. Everyone says we can’t be together, but how does one walk away from the other half of their heart?

I joined Jameson Force Security for three reasons: the missions, the danger, and the money. I definitely didn’t join the team to be an overpriced babysitter for a spoiled princess. Ask anyone who knows me, and they’ll tell you Jackson Gale is an adventurer through and through. Yet here I am, halfway across the world, watching over Princess Camille of the House Winterbourne. Even her name sounds stuck up.

After arriving in Bretaria, I realize that Princess Camille is nothing that I expected. Beautiful, smart, and sophisticated, Camille is the very picture of elegance and grace. But under her perfect façade, she is funny, adventurous, sexy as hell, and impossible to resist. And that is a dangerous combination.

The closer Camille and I become, the more obvious it is that while she and I are compatible in many ways, our destinies are not. She has a duty to the monarchy, and I’m just an average American who’s fallen for a princess. Everyone says we can’t be together, but how does one walk away from the other half of their heart?

I have loved getting to know each of the members of the Jameson Force team. Jackson Gale is no different, he has the background to be a member of this team and then some. But with this assignment he finds himself protecting a princess. He sees himself as a babysitter, but when he meets Princess Camille, he sees she is more than what he was thinking.

Princess Camille of the House of Winterbourne feels like a prisoner in her own home. The castle she lives in is on an island and after her 25th birthday, it will be announced that she will take over the throne if something happens to her father. But before her birthday, she gets to take a trip to the States, visiting New York, Atlanta, LA, and a few other stops. Before they leave on this tour, Camille feels that her father is not telling her all she needs to know. maybe she can get Jackson to tell her before this tour is over.

As they tour the States, Jackson and Camille grow close. There is a simmering heat between them and when they act on it, it may just burn them both.

As I said, I have loved each of the stories before this one, but I think this one is my favorite. It is filled with suspense, a relationship that breaks all the boundaries, and in the end, you will be rooting for Jackson and Camille. If you haven't started this series yet, you should. You will not be disappointed.

Avid Reader☆☆☆☆
M/F Romance

Jackson is kind of an enigma. He is somewhat judgmental and doesn't want anything to do with protecting spoiled people, but he's fierce in his loyalty to his team. While he wants to prove himself to his dad, who poo poos his decision to leave the Navy for the private sector, Jackson knows that he's doing something important too.

Camille knows that she is supposed to ascend the thrown soon. However, she also wants to have some semblance of life before she has those roles piled onto her shoulders. She loves her people and her country, but when she's able to attend a cousin's wedding in the US and she has a few other stops to make on her "diplomatic" journey, the last thing she expects is to fall for her security.

Cami and Jackson are a strange match. While they both would like to live normal lives, both have family obligations foisted on them. And despite them wanting and loving what they do, they also crave some normalcy.

These two have a medium burn start to their relationship and I enjoyed watching them banter. The story felt a little rushed for me and it was also slightly anticlimactic, but I did enjoy it overall. Jameson Force Security books are entertaining, full of alpha males and smart women. You'll enjoy them!

Ruthie☆☆☆☆
This is the seventh book in the series – I have enjoyed them all, and would definitely recommend that you read them in order, just to get some of the dynamics, but you could read this as a standalone, and go back afterwards.

I have to admit that this book took a bit of a departure from the other books, which involved creating a whole royal kingdom. I have to confess that I found that bit a little fantastical, although very enjoyable. It was the ultimate in world building. Amusingly Jackson also finds the idea of being a bodyguard to a princess quite strange!

As he spends time with Camille, he sees how normal she is, and yet how devoted to her role and responsibilities. It is fun seeing them get close and appreciate each other as people without preconceptions. However, Camille expects to have to marry to satisfy her parents, so cannot take seriously her feelings for Jackson.

The underlying plot which explains why they feel that Camille needs additional security has some interesting twists and made sure that there is the traditional Code Name series tension. It is definitely a fun addition to the series, as it is quite different from previous storylines.

Code Name: Rook by Sawyer Bennett Release Blitz

Code Name: Rook by Sawyer Bennett Available Now. The truth is about to come out in a big way and let’s just say I have some serious explaining to do.

Being a highly skilled operative for a company like Jameson Force Security is exhilarating and important work… until it comes time to date. I like to keep my profession under wraps for a number of reasons. Some of what we do is top secret, most of what we do is dangerous, and more than one woman has tried to latch onto me because she was more enamored with what I do than who Cage Murdock really is. And since I’m more of a ‘here for the night’ than a ‘here for forever’ kind of guy, what’s the harm in a little white lie about my job?

My harmless deceit has never failed me. Until now. Because I met the most amazing woman and did the unthinkable. I married her. And now my beautiful, unsuspecting, probably-going-to-leave-my-sorry-behind-when-she-finds-out-the-truth wife doesn’t know that I’m not a used car salesman like I told her when we met.

As it typically does with lies, the truth is about to come out in a big way when Jaime unwittingly gets herself mixed up with some unsavory characters and I, along with the team at Jameson, have to intervene. Now I need to save my girl and hope I can save my marriage too. Let’s just say I have some serious explaining to do.

What happens when the playboy at Jameson Force Security finds The One?

Cage has found the one girl he wants to spend more than a night with and he told her the lie about what he does for a living. He thinks it will be okay when he tells her the truth because it was a little lie. But as they grow closer together and he is called away for his job, he lets the lie continue.

Jamie thinks she has found her happily ever after in Cage. They seem to be perfect for each other. Although sometimes he acts like he doesn't like his job as a used car salesman. She wonders why he doesn't find something he is more passionate about. As long as he is happy, she would be fine with whatever he does for a living.

When Jamie gets in a sticky situation and Cage and his teammates have to step in, Jamie finds out just what Cage's real job is. And it is a shock to her. Can Cage make her see that he didn't mean to deceive her for so long? Will he be able to make her understand he never meant to keep her in the dark so long? Can Jamie forgive him and have the future they deserve?

I love this series and each couple has their own turmoil and grief to get through. As with each book, I found that Cage and Jamie are a great couple and perfect for each other. If you haven't read this author yet, then you should and you can start with any of her books. If you have, then I hope you enjoy this one too.

Avid Reader☆☆☆☆
M/F Military Romance

Cage, aka Rook, is the eternal bachelor. He knows his job can be a turn on, but he doesn't want women to want him because of his career. Keeping relationships at arm's length, Cage knows that even though some of his teammates have found their other halves, it just isn't for Cage.

However, after a successful mission, Cage catches the attention of Jamie. She is strong, confident, and beautiful. They hit it off and Cage can't seem to get enough of her. But he told her he was a used car salesman and now that the lie is out in the open, he isn't sure how to pull it back.

When they start to truly have a relationship, Cage knows something is off with Jamie's brother. He's always asking for money, sketchy about paying her back, and something just feels off. What Cage finds isn't the end of the world, but when Jamie is targeted because of her brother, Cage knows that his secret is going to come out.

Jamie really dislikes lying. It's the one deal breaker for her. When she sees how much Cage lied about, she'll have to decide whether or not he's worth the risk. Cage will also have to decide whether or not telling Jamie his true job will change how he feels about her.

This is a quick read with a lot going on. I wish that we had gotten to know more about Jamie's job, as it seemed to shape a lot of her personality. Also, it felt slightly rushed. Overall, I enjoyed this.

This is the sixth book in the series and runs in line with book five, but from a very different perspective. I didn't feel that it impinged on my reading, other than being able to chuckle at Jaime assuming Anna and Malik were together when they first met. I would absolutely recommend that you read the series in order, but if you started here and were tempted to go back, you would still get a very rich experience.

Cage has the reputation as a bit of a player – and it is clear that his reasoning for wanting to remain unattached has roots in his past and his career choices. As many of his colleagues are settling down, he is almost more certain that he will rely on hook-ups alone. So even though he clearly likes Jaime when he first meets her, he has no intention of it being any different to normal. Therefore, when he tells her he is a car salesman, he thinks nothing of it... of course, this could be the time that it comes back to bite him. I had to laugh that usually at a hookup, the guy claims to be a spy, superhero, SEAL, etc., and here is someone doing the absolute opposite and then not knowing how to reveal the truth. And every time she talks about the importance of truth and honesty, it is like another strike against him. I was fascinated to see how he was going to get out of that one!

We get a dramatic adventure, a fun twist to a hot and steamy romance, and some time with the gang and get to catch up on their progress in lives together. What more could we ask for really! The only downside is now having to wait for the next installment.

Code Name: Ghost by Sawyer Bennett Release Blitz

I knew the risks of this job when I signed on with Jameson Force Security. Knew my time as a marine would prepare me for the danger I would face. But no amount of training could have ever prepared me for the helplessness of watching my teammates die, the agonizing mental and physical pain of torture, or the despair of captivity.

Returning home to Pittsburgh following a mission gone wrong, I am riddled with guilt and haunted by nightmares. I spend my days trying to regain the parts of myself I lost in that desert, the pieces that made me the Malik Fournier I once was. While the physical effects of my torture are fading, the emotional ones are proving much more stubborn and I find solace from the last person I should ever seek such comfort.

Anna Tate lost even more than I did in that mission. Now a widow and a single mom to the daughter she gave birth to shortly after her husband’s death, Anna offers me comfort I don’t deserve. As my feelings for Anna grow, I worry that once she learns the truth about what happened, she’ll turn her back on me.

I pull her to me just as tightly as I push her away. Hoping this forbidden love will save me from the ghost I’ve become.

I have waited for this story since Malik went missing; it has been a struggle for him, but he has now been rescued and is trying to get his life back on track.

As Malik adjusts at being back at Jameson Force, all he wants to do is get back in the field. He doesn't want to talk about what happened or how he is feeling. He was not expecting Anna to come at him from out of the blue. As they grow closer, he has a feeling that when she learns how her husband died, she will not want anything to do with him.

Anna is happy that Malik has been rescued, she didn't know him before he left on the mission where he was kidnapped. Now he is back and they are working together. As they become close, she is beginning to have feelings for him.

What happens when Anna finds out just what happened when Malik was kidnapped and Jimmy died? Can their new relationship survive the guilt that Malik is feeling? What will happen when Malik is approved to go back on missions?

This is another great story for Jameson Force Security. It is filled with pain, heartache, heartbreak, and love to heal them both, if given a chance. I cannot wait for the next one. I hope you enjoy this one too.

This is the fifth book in the series – and wow, have we been waiting for Malik aka Ghost to return home and share his story. I would definitely recommend that you read them in order, to get the full richness of the Jameson family and the importance that they place on their community. It is not only in this series that we know of his disappearance, as he is brother to the Fournier hockey players in the Arizona Vengeance books, and he is mentioned in the Wicked Horse series too.

Malik may be back, but he is still deeply affected by what happened to him and the team, and the guilt is a heavy weight on his shoulders. That he feels so much for Anna is both a blessing and a curse. She most definitely makes him feel and want to be alive. Her impact on the team generally is important, but for Malik it is entwined with grief, loss, love, and hope for a future he never thought he could have.

Getting the story from both sides, we can appreciate that they are two intelligent, passionate people who believe in communication, trust, and friendship. It makes for a very lovely love story – I highly recommend it to you.

Malik had almost lost hope. Alone, beaten, and starving, he knows that his time is almost up. He can't help but feel guilty as he is rescued. Going home to his family is just what he needs. When he goes back to Jameson Force, Malik wants to get back to missions, danger, and the life he knew. But with his guilt weighing him down, he doesn't know if he can really just jump back in. When he is forced to speak about his captivity and his guilt, Malik is skeptical. But with the help of his fellow operatives and Anna, Malik learns that it's okay to lean on people.

Anna is compassionate, strong, and an amazing character. I loved how she interacted with the operatives and how she was able to get anyone to open up to her. She is fiercely protective of her team and her family. She befriends Malik knowing that they share a deep connection and loss.

When Malik knows that he wants more from Anna, he's worried that his secret will prevent them from ever finding their own happiness. Seeing these two work through their grief and loss, finding happiness and friendship was a very great story. I can't wait for the next one.
