A Little Bit Wicked by Melissa Foster Release Blitz

When the Dark Knights at Bayside and the cast of Bayside Summers collide, sparks fly, and trouble—or maybe love—is not far behind.

What do a cocky biker and a businesswoman who has sworn off dating bad boys have in common? According to Chloe Mallery, not much.

Justin came into the Wicked family after a harsh upbringing by a thieving father. He’s gone through a lot to become a true Wicked, and he’s made them proud. Now he’s ready to show the woman he loves exactly what type of man he is. But Chloe has worked hard to move past her difficult upbringing, and she’s wary of getting involved with a man who looks like he’s walked right out of it. When tragedy strikes, will their trying pasts draw them together, or will Justin’s protective nature be too much for Chloe’s independent heart to accept?

~ About The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside ~

Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven't met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. Their stories are told in the same loving, passionate voice readers have come to adore in Melissa's other series. Some of the Wickeds’ love stories will be hilariously fun and deeply emotional, others will tear at your heartstrings and include injections of humor, but they will all leave you wishing you could climb between the pages and join them!

I have waited for Justin's story and I am so glad it finally arrived. It was worth the wait.

Justin Wicked has a hard life growing up, until he came to the Wicked family and they adopted him. Now he is a true Wicked and they are proud of the man he has become. He has been in love with Chloe Mallery for a while and he wants to show her just what kind of man he is.

Chloe is not looking for the bad boy type. With the kind of mother she had and the upbringing she lived through, you couldn't blame her. She wants to keep Justin at arm's length, in the friend zone. But after Justin and the Dark Knights have a tough night, Chloe wants to treat Justin's wounds and learn about what happened. As they talk, she learns more about the man that makes her heart skip a beat each time they are together.

Will Chloe give Justin a chance at a relationship? Will she learn that not all bad boys are bad? Can Justin show her how he really feels? What will happen with her boss?

I loved this story, and Justin and Chloe are perfect for each other. Author Melissa Foster has done it again and I can't wait for more of the Wicked Dark Knights.

This may be the first book in this series, but as any Foster fan knows, all the books have links and connections, and part of the fun is getting up to date with the families and couples from previous books. This one definitely ties together a whole lot of old friends – both through the Dark Knights MC, but also through the book club... which runs locally and also online! I did find the drawing out of the connections to seem more important that the story of Justin and Chloe at times. Maybe that was because I knew them already, but it does mean that a new reader would be submerged in a lot of characters and not be sure of what their relevance was to this story.

Once things got going though, this is an absolutely classic and unputdownable Foster read. I loved how the two of them could not resist the pull, and that Justin was not only able to make Chloe understand that he was a good guy, but he enabled her to change her views on life. Both having had challenging childhoods (to say the least) they have a deep appreciation for how they had grown into good people. Chloe's work at LOCAL, the elderly residential home, means she has to deal with a particularly unpleasant boss – but little did anyone expect the events which unfurl. Thankfully, the Dark Knights have completely taken her under their wing, and though horrible, things are resolved well.

From his lovely beach recreation for her book club party, to the time they spend at Gunner's dog rescue centre with Sampson and Shadow, this is a romantic, sexy, and very enjoyable read. Foster fans will be delighted, I am sure!
