A Spring Frost by Johnny Miles

When Griffin Kloss escapes the hilly Carolinas to lick his wounds in balmy Fort Lauderdale, it’s a welcome relief for the former college football player. But with his mom and childhood home both in shambles, Griffin soon realizes he’s got much more to take care of than just himself. In need of escape, fun, and relief, Griffin meets the mysterious and alluring Jackson Frost.

Sparks fly as ex-frat boy meets smoking-hot spring breaker. Amid the heat of the sun and sandy beaches, Griffin and Jackson take each other by storm and along the way discover their connection is more than just coincidence. Theirs is a magical union that’s practically written in the stars, but will their passion be enough to sustain them through their discoveries or will Griffin’s need to nurse his mother back to health come between him and Jackson?

Shannan☆☆☆
Griffin needs to get away. He takes care of his mother, who seems to be losing her mental capabilities. He's worn out, frustrated and needs a break. He finds himself on the way to Ft. Lauderdale. Spring break in Florida is in full force. This may be the escape Griffin needs especially after he meets Jackson. They spend one quick moment together before getting interrupted.

Griffin has to go home earlier than he thought, his mom needs him. She ends up in hospital after a fall. Griffin knows he needs to be there but his mind can't stop thinking of Jackson. When he walks into the hospital room, he finds out there are thing he doesn't know about Jackson.

Spring Frost was a quick read. I didn't expect the magical twist. It took me from the story. I did enjoy the quick read otherwise.

Johnny Miles began his writing career in 1985, when his first erotic short story was published by Numbers magazine. Since then, his work has appeared in various adult magazines, including Blueboy, First Hand, and Honcho.

After several decades of working in various careers from typesetting and graphic design to massage therapy, customer service, and copywriting, Johnny reentered the world of erotica in 2008 with the release of his first full length novel, Casa Rodrigo. Published by Loose Id, the controversial story was followed by Lauderdale HeartsLearning To Samba and, most recently, The Rosas of Spanish Harlem. Described by his editor as porn noir, Rosas was quickly followed by Christmas Baby, published by Untreed Reads, and The Last Stop: USA, released by MLR Press.

Casa Rodrigo is now available as an audiobook. With four and a half hours of pure aural entertainment and 12 outstanding actors, the story is richly layered and textured with effects to help stimulate your senses. It's an immersive experience not to be missed!

Johnny lives in Fort Lauderdale with his husband of 18 years, 3 lunatic Pugs and a prissy, Prima Donna cat.
