A
childhood pact changed everything.
I loved my life. Sleeping around. No commitments. But my mother kept prying
into my love life, wanting to see me happily settled down.
The remedy seemed to magically reveal itself when I stumbled onto Travis, my
childhood best friend, on a dating app. When we were in elementary school, we
promised to marry each other if we were still single at thirty.
Reconnecting, I proposed we give the pact a real shot. To my surprise, Travis
agrees. Somewhere in the midst of planning our wedding, the unthinkable
happens. Our feelings for each other become… real.
As the day of our fake marriage grows near, how do I tell Travis I want the
real thing and for him to be mine forever?

I crawled into bed and stared
mindlessly at my phone. Instead of turning to social media, I turned to Fyre, a
dating app I’d used before to find hookups.
I hadn’t logged into the app in months, and the first thing I did was update my
profile, including a few new selfies and one of me at the beach, showing off my
cut abs. I didn’t work out at the gym four days a week for nothing. Once that
was taken care of, I started swiping to find a match.
I swiped for several minutes, left, left, left, right, left. I was being picky,
but it didn’t matter. I could be as picky or forgiving as I wanted to be. It
was my dick and my ass on the line.
I was ready to give up and call it a night when I swiped one last time. The
picture that popped up was not just familiar, it was instantly recognizable.
The guy had wavy, short brown hair, green eyes, and a square jaw covered in
stubble. I knew that guy. It was Travis Weston, standing on a mountaintop
somewhere. My eyes widened in surprise. Just like his social media pictures
showed, he’d grown up to be super hot. Just the type to bring home to Mom and
fuck senseless afterward.
“I’ll be damned,” I murmured.
Swipe right.

This is the third book in the series, but I think it'd be okay as a standalone.
This book has no angst, is super sweet, fun, and you can feel the chemistry.
Was it a little weird how Parker suggests a fake marriage when they meet? Yes,
but this series has weird, odd stuff happen, and as the previous two books
worked out, so did this one. Travis has no experience in the bedroom, so when
he brings that up Parker handled it well and that made me like him even more.
These two are so good together, it's sort of a slow burn but it worked. Fast,
fun weekend read.

This is the third in the series – I think you could read it as a standalone,
but they are all fun.
Parker has been enjoying life to the max, even though he is well aware he is
approaching the big 30. Never committing to anyone and keeping himself in the
game, even as his mum keeps setting him up with dates. He then remembers his
school friend Travis and their promise that they would get married if still
single at 30. I did feel that this idea came rather out of nowhere, but I went
with it. Asking a man you have not seen for 15 years to get married so that you
are no longer being set up seemed rather extreme!
Travis finds himself having missed the boat and now his sexual innocence is
holding him back – so when Parker, his first love, comes back into his life,
things definitely heat up.
This is a quick read, with some fun scenes in Travis's park ranger life, as
well as a rather intense one, and a dream ending.
