Rock and Troll was a cute, light-hearted read. The blurb caught my attention as it is completely out of my typical type but sounded interesting. There are paranormal aspects, mainly just the characters: Clay, a troll, and Dylan, a wood nymph. This doesn't really describe, in detail, what these characterizations entail... just little bits here and there. I realized after finishing the book that I was expecting a bit more from this.

After Dylan has unsuccessfully tried dating apps, she's ready to call it quits on the whole dating scene. It just so happens that a new matchmaking service wants to help her – and her plants will not let her ignore it!

Clay's mother has decided she is done waiting for her son to settle down. She contracts Mystical Matchmakers to find him the perfect partner. Being the good son he is, he agrees to try it out.

I will say this was a quick and quirky romance that was wholesome and humorous.
