The Bromance Zone is the first installment in the Good Guys series. A friends-to-lovers romance filled with quick banter and so much emotion.

River and Owen have known each other since college. Back then, the attraction was there but neither wanted to ruin a fantastic friendship by throwing sex in the mix. They decide to come up with a pact, a sex pact if you will. They will never cross that line, their friendship is too important.

One road trip, one snowstorm, and a gorgeous cabin has the power to change everything. They've both been hiding their feeling for so long and when faced with what's right in front of them, will they explore what's always been there or honor their pact?

Relationships have never worked out for these two and Owen has been fighting his feelings for some time, knowing he never wanted to lose his best friend. River, on the other hand, has a moment where he opens his eyes and all his feelings for Owen slap him right in the face. Once they get out of their heads, the sexual tension and heat of this one is a force of its own. I loved the banter and the realization that they were it for each other. (Can I also mention I absolutely love seeing glimpses of Grant and Declan? They always bring a smile to my face!)

Lauren Blakely writes such emotion into her characters and River and Owen were no different. Getting a sneak peek at TJ has me dying for the next book in the series!!

This is the first book in a new series, but fans of Lauren Blakely's will know more than a little bit about River and his successful bar empire from the Men of Summer series – and we get to see Declan and Grant as their story interlinks with that of River and Owen.

I love that River – the consummate player and yet valuer of friend above lover – finally opens his eyes and his heart to the man who has stood by him and accepted less than he wanted for so long. As the blindfold is lifted and River starts to think that it may just be time to change the rules, we just get immense pleasure and joy in reading of the romance and love which finally blossoms between them.

I love the way the story unfolds; the friends along the way who have seen it all and just waited for them to finally be in the right place – a beautiful cabin – and the right time – a blizzard – to take the chance on their feelings and future. Delicious, delightful, and utterly perfect.

A fun, sexy, and hugely enjoyable read – thank you so much for giving River and Owen their happily ever after and promising more goodness in the future!

Great start to a new series. This was a fast read for me. Sweet, funny, sexy, and low on angst! I would love to be stuck in a blizzard with these guys. This book was so fun. I loved River and Owen and their friends. This was a feel good book and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Those who have read Lauren Blakely’s Men of Summer trilogy will remember bartender River and his best friend Owen. When they were younger, the men made a pact to never sleep together. Fast forward eight years and their feelings have changed.

River and Owen were clearly perfect for each other; it was just a matter of how they were going to go from friends to lovers. River is a total flirt and Owen isn’t far behind. Their flirting and banter were fun and together they are totally hot! I will say, because the focus of the story is entirely on River and Owen’s relationship, once the inevitable happened there wasn’t much more to the story and while I easily sped through the majority of this story, the last little bit was a chore because there wasn’t really anything else to keep me interested.

I really enjoyed The Bromance Zone. It is a fast, light read full of entertaining banter and sexy times. I’m looking forward to reading book two, Hopelessly Bromantic.
