Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the first book in a new series, and it also links across to Dare to Stay, so if you are a Dare fan, you will get a quick treat there too. I was very quickly rooting for Linc and Jordan, and hoping that her mother's negative vibes would not stop the inevitable! I am also very much looking forward to the next books in the series, as Linc's siblings will, I am sure, have fun romances too.

Linc and Jordan are pretty much inseparable, she works for him and they spend a lot of their down time together too – so much so that they are fearful of ever pursuing a romantic relationship for fear of ruining what they have already. Add in Jordan's mother having worked for the Kingston family, and their differing financial situations, and certainly Jordan is nervous of taking any chances.

Obviously that doesn't quite work out as they expected, and now they have to navigate around the problems and give themselves the chance of a happily ever after. It is both fun and frustrating watching them work out how, but immensely satisfying when they work out what really matters. It is also a lot of fun that their friends can see what the two of them have ignored for so long.

I definitely recommend this as a fun, steamy, and very enjoyable read.

This is a great friends-to-lovers romance. Linc is an amazing businessman and goes after what he wants. But when his father dies and leaves behind a huge mess, it is up to Linc and his brothers to fix it. Finding out there is more family and that perhaps his father was even worse than they thought, just makes Linc that much more determined to make things right.

Jordan has known that she’s not from Linc’s world since she was a small girl. Her mom always likes to point out that men of Linc’s status won’t be tied down. Despite that, Jordan loves working with and for Linc. He’s a fantastic boss and they know each other so well that Jordan knows what he needs, sometimes before he knows.

These two wade their way through Linc’s dad’s issues and their own attraction in this low-angst story. It’s sweet and fun. I can’t wait to see more of the Kingstons!
