Danger Zone by Brooke Blaine & Ella Frank Blog Tour

They train to serve their country.
They strive to be the best.
But only a select few can be...
The Elite

* * *

MATTEO MORGAN
CALL SIGN: SOLO

Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the U.S. Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.

MISSION RULES:
1. Kick everyone’s ass.
2. Do whatever it takes to win.
3. Do your best to distract the competition.
4. Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.

GRANT HUGHES
CALL SIGN: PANTHER

Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.

MISSION RULES:
1. Keep it safe in the air.
2. Prove you’re more than Commander Hughes’s son.
3. No distractions. Stay focused.
4. Don’t fall for your competition—especially not the rebellious heartbreaker with lips made for sinning.

In the heat of the hot California sun, tempers flare and desires ignite as Solo and Panther try to resist their attraction while fighting to be number one.
With passion this intense, the question remains:
Who’s gonna come out on top?

Danger Zone is the first book in the new series from Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine, The Elite.

First of all, I am a huge fan of Top Gun, the original with Maverick, Goose, and Iceman. Danger Zone takes me right back to Miramar. I loved every second of this book.

Grant Hughes, call sign Panther, has something to prove to his father. He has to be the best, he can't lose, and he can't be gay. He hides that side of him, always hooking up off base, never with a military man. People talk and the last thing he needs is it getting back to his father. For the next ten weeks he'll be competing against the best of the best, The Elite. Someone has to come out on top, but will it be him? Or will it be the dangerous, hot fellow fighter pilot that he can't get off his mind?

Matteo Morgan, call sign Solo, is well known in the Navy as a reckless, bold, arrogant pilot. But he has the skills in the air to get him to The Elite. A chance meeting with Panther at a gay bar has him a little shocked to see they will be competing against each other. Solo does everything in his power to get Panther to admit there are sparks between them. Can Solo make the rule-following Panther break rules for him? Will once be enough?

Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine killed this one. I couldn't get enough. The frustrating slow burn between Matteo and Grant, the fight to be the best... the ending that had me gasping. I cannot wait to get Need for Speed! I have to know how this relationship plays out!

Holy crap on a cracker! This book had me from the first page all the way to the last page. I don't know why I didn't realize this would end in a cliffhanger, but it did, boy did it! These two authors sure know how to collaborate on books, dang they are good together and their characters are amazeballs! Solo and Panther have so much chemistry that your fingers tingle from holding your e-reader, it's that strong! Such a great book. I can't wait to see what's next for Grant and Matteo.

5 stars of exceptional hotness!!

This is the first in a new series, and I knew it would be hot, but it really is scorchingly so! And the ending... let's just say, I did not see that coming... and I am now pretty desperate for part two!

We learn very quickly that Grant "Panther" Hughes has a father to live up to, which makes him all kinds of repressed and also obsessed with being the best, but it takes a little longer to understand what kind of background has made Solo the man he is. I loved that we had to be patient and along with them both, wait until the moment was right to find out just how the attraction between them could play out. And phwoar!

I loved the whole super elite fighter pilot vibe, which encompasses sexy uniforms, extreme skill, and adrenaline rushes of the tallest order. That they both also ride fast, sexy motorbikes just adds to the image and amps up the heat.

So, if you need to raise your temperature, buckle up and enjoy one heck of a ride!

PS: darling authors, please release the next book very, very soon, pretty please!
