I like the underlying story, I enjoyed the conflict of interests, the pairing was ok, and the side characters were amusingly odd. However, for me there was a flaw in how quickly they met and connected. And because it was too sudden, it threw a spanner into the works. For Cassandra to be so inexperienced and then in many ways, not. For the spies to be so open in their comms, and the baddies to be so poor in their reactions ...

The good news is that it is a whole story, which is quite unusual these days!
