The first in a series I was very glad that I had books 2 and 3 on my Kindle – that kind of reassurance does reduce the pressure when you can just tell that there is going to be a bit of a cliffhanger!
It is very easy to fall in love with this book as it is written so smoothly. It is very difficult to find a place where a natural pause would be better than turning the page to the next chapter. It is intense, tightly plotted and hot. Lots of hotness to counteract the unease which makes up pretty much all of Amy's life. We never really get to the bottom of what, why and how the danger exists, but it is certainly real. Trust is not something which Amy can offer easily, but somehow Liam gets to her on a soul deep level. Dramatic ending to say the least, and delighted that could move straight into book two!
