Bleeding Love is the second book in the Hope Town series, which of course is the spin-off to the Corps Security series. The characters in Hope Town are the children of the characters in Corps Security.

Now that all of that is out of the way, Bleeding Love is the story of Liam and Megan. Megan is an author and single mother, widowed a few years ago. Her late husband was friends with Cohen, which is how she becomes part of their little group. He's kept an eye on her since she has no one else in her life but her daughter, Molly. Liam has had an attraction to Megan, but Megan has never been in the right head space for Liam. Liam is anything but a quitter, with his sweet talking ways and the help of a little girl, Megan falls for Liam while she fights the past.

It's no secret Ms. Sloan can write some swoon worthy characters, Liam Beckett is no exception. I love that we get to see a little peek of Beck and Dee even though it's their son's story. Liam and Megan's story is sweet and sexy, but Molly (Megan's daughter) is a favorite of mine. She is an adorable character.

I can't wait to see what Ms. Sloan does next.
