Sweet as Sin by J.T. Geissinger

Twentysomething Kat Reid is loving life as an in-demand Hollywood makeup artist. She has absolutely no interest in rock ’n’ roll, but in order to pay the mortgage, she agrees to work on the set of a rock video for the world-famous rockers known as Bad Habit . . . which brings her face-to-face with Nico Nyx, lead singer of Bad Habit and Adonis in the flesh.

However, the fiercely independent Kat isn’t impressed by the hard-living, womanizing rock star. But when Nico’s model girlfriend shows up to the set drunk and Kat is tapped to replace her as the video’s sexy bride, her combustible chemistry with Nico suddenly threatens to consume the set. Nico feels it, too—and becomes determined to win Kat over, body and soul. Yet behind his rock god swagger, Nico hides a dark secret. Can he rock Kat’s world forever, or will he just break her heart?

This was a great book with a normal girl who falls for a rocker. While there was insta-love that I didn't particularly care for, the rest of the book was soo good I was able to get past it.

I loved Kat and the way she was with Nico and his crazy life. She reacted so much like a normal person would with the whirlwind romance that I felt bad for her and loved her and hated Nico at times.

There were quite a few twists in the story that I totally didn't see coming (and a few that I did). There were quite a few parts that had me laughing with the girls. I hope in the next installment of the series that we get more Kenji because he was awesome.

I appreciated that while it was a rocker book it wasn't all about the rocker side of things but the behind the scenes life that they have that makes them normal people.

I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I enjoyed the book, for me it started a little slow however when it picked up boy did it go!
I loved Kat, she was so fiesta, however she annoyed me sometime how easily she gave into Nico.
Nico is the typical cocks Rocester but he does have dark secrets and many layers that makes him just a bit different.
I didn't get the whole spanking thing, I felt it was just thrown in to try add a bit of kink but it fell flat for me.
I loved that the books had plenty of twists and turns to keep me interested and turning pages.
I can't wait to see if there will be a book about Chole and AJ because clearly something is going on there.
Overall the books was written well and had a good solid plot. I would recommend.

WOW!!! This was an absolutely brilliant read. I am so happy that it is the first a series, because I need more of this great writing and delicious storyline. It has been a while since a book just sat so perfectly with me. I thank Ms. Geissinger for sharing her talent.

It is a rockstar romance, but somehow it avoids a lot of the clichés by going big, and throwing family into the pot instead. It is SO funny in places, but then it is tragic and clever, and sad, and sexy, and romantic... In fact I lived the story – laughter, tears, hor... ok let's not go there ;-)
I did start to stress that there was going to be a big cliffhanger – which would have put me in a sulk till it was resolved – but thankfully not!

If you like reading a well written, romantic, funny, moving and sexy book – then this is going to rock your world!

I love a good rock star romance and Sweet as Sin does NOT disappoint! Started off great with Kat giving good attitude and snark to Nico, the ultimate rock God, during a music video shoot. The plot thickens when Nico's "girlfriend," Amy, shows up to the video shoot drunk and Nico decides Kat should fill in for her. The story takes some great turns and is not what I would consider the common plot routes for rock star romance books. Geissinger definitely adds a nice new twist on the standard rock star story. Nico exhibits wonderful alpha male tendencies and doles out some super hot "punishment" for a misbehaving Kat, so we have a good bit of erotic sexiness in the story as well. Found this book to be well written, unpredictable and enjoyable. I'm really interested to read the next installment, too, with AJ and Chloe I hope!! AJ has me intrigued! Thoroughly enjoyed!

I wanted to like this one. I really tried but there were just too many no-go factors for me. The insta-obsession eye locking moment bad boy lead singer and anti-fan girl make-up artist. Kat stands in during a video shoot, the sexual tension is intense and promising. She doesn't want anything to do with him, he won't take no for an answer. Doing whatever he can to make her his. The drama which seemed to have no end. There were some interesting plot twists and turns but the overall drama level was just too much for me and turned me off to the plot. Nico started off with the potential to be an alpha but he lost the edge somewhere. I just didn't have a connection to these characters and unfortunately without that the book falls flat for me. Bottom line this one just wasn't for me.
