I just love the Corbin’s Bend series and I have found that all the books I truly love are by Thianna Durston, all the books by her have been my favorites and this one isn’t any different. First it is M/M which I am in love with right now and secondly the book is just well written. I honestly felt as if Jack and Josh could be people I am friends with. I will have to say at times I would get confused for some reason between Jack and Josh, the J names kept tripping me up for some reason. Must have been because I stayed up and read this in one sitting I enjoyed it that much. Jack’s brother is a founding member of Corbin’s Bend and Josh is the new Nurse Practitioner. These two are so sweet together and I just loved watching them grow and forming their relationship. I also adored Josh’s relationship with his sister and his niece. This was a short, sweet, passion filled book and a great addition to the series.

I love the Corbin's Bend series as a whole, but this book left me wanting. The characters of Jack and Josh are great, beautifully written, but I just didn't seem to see much of the chemistry between them. Yeah, there were a few amazingly hot scenes, but they were few and far between.
The storyline took place over a matter of a year, but the there was no indication or delineation in the book of the passage of time. A new paragraph would start and then you would realize that a week/month had passed.
I'm glad that we got to see Jack's story and the introduction of new characters is always good for a series such as this.

Corbin's Bend is a place that I really enjoy visiting, and this latest offering is another great story. If you haven't read one before I would suggest that you track back to the beginning, as you would otherwise miss a great series.
Brent (founder of Corbin's Bend) has an older brother Jack (we met him a while back, briefly), who does not live by the same rules as Brent. However as the story progresses we see him have to eat his words, much to his brother's amusement. The transition is not necessarily smooth, but it is incredibly sweet, aided by the lovely Josh. The family elements were strong and effective in the story, although really Jack is the key to the story. He has some hot moves, much to the reader and Josh's entertainment.
Once again we hear from old favourites and enjoy reading what really is only considered normal in Corbin's Bend! A practice dummy being the funniest I think in this episode!
