Daring Enough is the fourth installment in the Love in Montana series. It can be read as a standalone it is a continuous series and reads better in the order that the author intended.

Rose Shaw is surrounded by couples and people in love. That’s all she ever wanted for herself – for someone to look at her like her dad looks at her mom. But she was so scared to open herself to someone else after getting cheated on by someone she loved and had her heart shattered. She was in a battle with herself, not knowing what she really wanted to do with her life or what her passion in life is. Meeting Bryson Robinson, an MLB pitcher who lived and played for the Seattle Mariners, Rose never saw coming. Rose and Bryson shared a night that neither will soon forget but Rose can't be with someone who she wouldn't see often, regardless how much she trusted and loved him.

Bryson Robinson is at the top of his game. He's the best in the league on the mound but he wants more in his life. He hasn't dated in over a year after being cheated on by someone who was more invested in his money than the man himself. When Bryson spends that night on the terrace with Rose, something inside of him changes and he knows what he wants in his life. But waking up alone and knowing Rose ran instead of saying goodbye. Bryson makes some big gestures that freak Rose out, but he refuses not to fight for her.

I enjoyed the story but Rose, unlike other heroines in the series, seemed to go back and forth so much on her feelings it put me off. I really liked Bryson, and once Rose got her stuff together, I did like her more and the story seemed to flow better. And I always enjoy seeing past characters, especially the OGs to the Montana series, the parents. They are all some of the best characters in Kelly Elliott's worlds.

I can't wait to see where Lily's book goes, and I hope and pray it's Maverick and not Ben!!
