There’s
one thing I’ve learned in life: men may come and men may go, but pizza is
forever. Particularly when you have a problem.
Mine is that I can't fall in love. Unless you count pizza. Because I definitely
love me some pizza.
What was I saying? Oh, yeah, that's right. My little problem.
After my latest failed attempt at love—with a man, not food—I needed a break,
not just from dating, but from my life. What better time to take a vacation
than when you realize you're defective?
That's how I ended up visiting my best friend, Cam. And how I found Ben Murphy.
For the first time in my life, I felt more yearning for a man than I did for a
deep dish supreme with extra cheese and it was scary as hell.
But unlike a pizza, Ben has the ability to break my heart.

M/F Friends-to-lovers
I did read book one and suggest you do the same as the same characters show up
and it'll help you make sense of the relationships in the book.
Sierra is an amazing friend. She's talented, brilliant, smart, and mouthy. She
likes soda and pizza way more than she probably should and for some reason,
only knows heartbreak when it comes to relationships... theirs, not hers.
Ben is a good looking, almost quiet guy. He has known Sierra for a while now
and they all hang out with the same family... Cam's. They have had lunches,
dinners, family occasions together for years. Cam's family adopted the kids
that were neglected by their too wealthy parents.
When Sierra and Ben begin their journey, Sierra is very open with what she's
looking for and what she's not looking for. But can she truly keep her heart
out of the equation?
Cam's book overlaps a lot of Sierra's book. There are almost identical scenes
and scenarios. You get to see Cam's situation through Sierra's eyes too. I did
wish there wasn't so much redundancy, but I understand why it helps move the
story along.
Sierra will have to truly take a leap of faith in herself to see if she can
find everlasting love. Ben will have to decide if love is worth the risk. These
two have great chemistry, but their relationship development was a little
lacking for me.
It is a sweet story with a lot going on. Emotions fly all over the place, but
the characters are loveable and fun. I am definitely looking forward to J.J.'s
book.

This is the second book in the series and runs concurrently with the first, and
so I would definitely recommend that you read them in order to get the full
picture.
Cam’s best friend and silent partner in her business Crave, Sierra, is in town
and she loves Cam’s family so much. Now the Murphy brothers are also included
in Sunday lunches, so she meets Ben, brother to Cam’s long-time crush, Brody.
Sierra had a rich but lacking in love and warmth childhood, and though she is
super bright and successful, she’s certain that she deserves no love in her
life as she’s missing the gene. We soon understand why she has such distorted
views, but thankfully, Ben cares enough and recognises the signs from his own
similar upbringing. He and Sierra really do heat up the pages with the
chemistry between them; the challenge is to recognise what they have is more
than just that.
I really enjoyed the dual storylines, so I really do think reading them in
order is best. I loved the little reminders of what is going on in Cam’s life
and Sierra really is a great friend. But it’s very satisfying to see Ben and
Sierra take control of their futures together.
Looking forward to J.J. getting his chance at a happily ever after.

This story occurs during the same frame as I Crave You and it’s the
story of Ben and Sierra. We get to see what makes Sierra the way she is and why
she is that way.
Visiting Farley and her bestie Cam, Sierra is hoping to get her life back on
track, the six-week vacation she has planned is one where she can focus on
nothing but spending time with Cam and her family. Sierra adores Cam's family
and since meeting them, she now has firsthand knowledge of what she missed out
on during her own childhood.
Getting to know Ben, however, was not on her list of things to do. However, Ben
is interested in Sierra and as he gets to know her better, he realizes if he
wants more with her, he's going to have to go nice and slow.
I really enjoyed this book, the way that Sierra has to take all of the pieces
of the puzzle that is her life and slowly rearrange them so that she knows
what's most important to her and how to go about getting it.
I can't wait for book three.
